Forget the predictions and even the outcome. Just stop and think about how fortunate we are.

There are fans of 18 other teams that will not get what we are going to get this afternoon and we've been on that other side of this. Remember that feeling of your team not being in the tournament?

There are fans of 2 other teams that have already left but they were here. Even if NE stumbled hard last night, they were here and they were not last year.

We get an 18th game that 18 other teams do not get.

I hope the Cowboys win but this has been a great ride so far this year and few anticipated a 12-5 season and a more than convincing sweep of the East.

And about that Philly game, the Cowboys couldn't control who they played but they put on a show for Cowboys fans that hate the Eagles to make a magical season more magical.

As fans, we have not been here enough since the 90's to take this for granted so I hope each and every one of you really do just take this in and enjoy this moment. Enjoyable moments are not as plentiful as they used to be so we need to be aware when one of those is upon us and just breathe that in and hold it a little longer than usual and let it out slowly.

my goal for this team before the season was for us to make the playoffs. I had predicted a 9-8 to 10-7 record. I thought making the playoffs would be a great big step given last year. I thought if we end up winning a playoff game would be a big huge improvement and step in the right direction. To host a playoff game as the 3rd seed is great. now, I am not lowering my expectations. I want a win. I want a win real bad. I think this was the toughest match up for us. if we pull this, I think the second game is a little easier actually even if we have to go to Tampa. Dak told tom, we see you in playoffs. lets make it happen

And that used to be me, I watched them not to see them play but to win. And I wanted wins in convincing fashion.

But I discovered I was not enjoying the actual games as much and was overly critical of each play so I had to adjust my thinking, which the last 25 seasons have helped accomplish that.

I used to think I deserved to win and don't know how I arrived there because winning games in the NFL is hard. So many variables and so many players. Look at LV yesterday, they could have won that game except for 2 or 3 players making mistakes.

But, JBS, to each their own. I consider this thread wasted for those you speak of.

I can and do, however 75% of this board doesn't know how to enjoy this season regardless of what happens today. IMO been very successful season and the playoffs are part 2 of that. Hopefully we win but if not i will be disappointed but won't change my mind on it being successful; it was,

the regular season is a separate entity, proof, the records and stats don't carry over.. so this is just another season now,

so i can enjoy the regular season on its own.

This is only the Cowboys 8th playoff appearance in the 2000s, so the feeling of not being in the tournament is very familiar.

I guess I'm still spoiled from the 20th century. Simply getting into the playoffs isn't cause for a lot of celebration. How about doing something this time?

I'm very happy we're in the playoffs and have at least one more Cowboys game to watch. You can't win a playoff game if you don't make the playoffs to begin with.

Its does! I havent felt this good about out team in 25+ years.

Its definitely a moment to savor.

Try meditation if you feel the anxiety getting to you. When I meditate I clear my mind and then let all the great Cowboys plays this year just trickle into my mind. Before you know it I'm relaxed with a smile on my face. Go Cowboys! :flagwave:
