Dak is just too limited overall. He can't make all of the throws and he doesn't process the game at an elite level so this offense will always be limited.

Not! Can we at least stop with the Dak is elite nonsense. Dak is a good QB, but he is not elite and never will be, but he can lead the Boys to a SuperBowl some day, but that will only happen once Zeke and his salary is gone and if Dak gives the Boys some cap relief.

There were alot of very good AND elite quarterbacks who didn't make it to the Superbowl in their first 5 or 6 years.

Kaepernick wasn't elite, but he still led his team to the Superbowl. Jim Kelly and Dan Marino WERE elite, and haven't won a single Superbowl.

You don't have to be elite to win in this league.

Dak before calf injury was playing at an MVP level. After the calf injury he clearly wasn’t the same. Not sure what happened. Was hoping we’d hear there’s some undisclosed injury like with Zekes PCL
He faced a good defense in the Broncos who exposed his lack of football IQ and slow reads. Other good defenses saw this and have exposed him ever since.

Dak played elite level football the first 7 games before his calf injury.

He was the MVP favorite at that point.

But he regressed significantly since then, obviously.

I’m concerned he might end up like Wentz.
He doesn’t process the field fast enough Holds the ball too long. Goes for the homerun instead of taking what is there. Beyond all that - he’s been paid, has his hot GF, more endorsements, etc. he will Not lead this team to a championship.

Dak is the new Cam. Btw Cam won an MVP and took Carolina to a Superbowl.

I love how guys say Dak’s OL is trash, while Burtow gets sacked over 50 times this season. And you watch QBs like Herbert dodging rushers all the time, while going through their progressions, only to fire rockets where you shake your head in awe. Carr had to break pocket and avoid rushers.

Why can’t you just admit that Dak is not only slow processing he field, he’s lead-footed and he looks heavy when trying to accelerate to get out of the pocket?

I said it before, people confuse Dak being strong and difficult to bring down as the same as a good runner. He’s heavy and awkward running. He’s not light in his feet and as the OL is no longer elite, the type of runs he was getting away with, become far less.

Do you feel better? Did it help to get it off tour chest? Lol!

The team was flat as a whole, that is the sick culture of the team, the uninspired play that requires leadership that the cowboys haven't had since the 90's. The Defense wasn't ideal, but it did give us a slight chance at the end of the game, but the offense couldn't capitalize on it. Dak is the leader of the offense, but you making it sound like he had to overcome a horrid offensive line with a punctured lung because he was getting hit all night. I remember years ago, I said that Dak isn't always going to have the #1 offensive line in the NFL, that one day he will have an average line and maybe even a bad line. But I still haven't seen Dak in my lifetime play under a line as bad as some of the ones that Romo had to play under. If Romo played under worse offensive lines, and that was never allowed to be an excuse for him, why should it be an excuse for Dak when he plays under better lines?

Cmon buddy, lets talk real football here. The Oline was flat out terrible. And on a day when 90% of the fan base was hoping we would see lots of pollard he only got like 4 touches.

Its honestly not the pressure as much as the penalties. When have you EVER seen these type of penalties from an Oline. Its a comedy show.

What QB is going to thrive under those conditions? Our of all the bad games by the Oline in the 2nd half of the year, that was the worst one.

I'm wondering was it just fluke he played that well or did something happened in that 7th game....seemed like a completely different guy.

Imagine Josh Allen or Burrows on this team, oh well. This team needs #1 a huge overhaul on the ol, get a new ol coach too please.

Is there any way we can trade Dak and dump most/some of his contract hitting the salary cap even if it means giving up a 2nd as well as a sweetener?

He literally has / had 3 #1 receivers.

Amari seemed to begin to crack towards the end of the season. Won’t be long before things implode. Even tonight the WRs were wide open on a lot of plays.
