Yes his coaches here have always looked the other way when facing his shortcomings and tried to spin him into the “ultimate leader” type. The reality of it is, players gain respect through their play in big games and Dak is weak in those situations.

Idk why it isn’t brought up more, but Belichick is the one who started this, not the calf. We saw some chinks in the armor with the defensive scheme he showed. Other teams followed and by the end of the season everyone was doing it. The bad teams just couldn’t do it very well.

Dak threw for 450 yards against Belichick, the most ever against him.

It went downhill from there of course.

I think Dak regressed when the running game started to decline.

Not! Can we at least stop with the Dak is elite nonsense. Dak is a good QB, but he is not elite and never will be, but he can lead the Boys to a SuperBowl some day, but that will only happen once Zeke and his salary is gone and if Dak gives the Boys some cap relief.
We will never win a Super Bowl paying a quarterback elite money and getting subpar or even average play.

Serious question to all, next two years an elite qb drops to you in the draft don't you have to consider taking him? At least maybe look for a project type guy in the 2nd round on. We need to plan for the future. Cause if this is dak's ceiling no way he's making it past 2 years (wed cut him). At that point guys like parsons and diggs are still young.

The whole season we wanted him to run more, and he decides to make it the last play of the year. Plenty of blame to go around, but Dak doesn't have it anymore.
He was on fire the 1st half and laid an egg the second half. Well, the 2nd half he faced stiffer competition and doesn't have the stones to hang with those teams....................

I'll say this:

Dallas is stuck with Dak. I seriously question how much Moore has helped and pushed Dak. I'm not seeing a lot of growth. Regardless of whatever happens with McCarthy, I think KM and whomever the QB coach is have to be gone. Someone has to work with Dak on reads and anticipating passes instead of waiting for receivers to be wide open.

Denver was right....they showed how to stop the cowboys....and everybody copied it. we never adjusted.

Blaming Dak? Obviously an agenda here. He wasn’t great but he surely didn’t lose the game. Penalties killed them and that’s a coaching issue. Questionable playcalling as well as usual the 2nd half of the year.

lmao , how much did Dak pay you to post this ??

Dak, the OL, and Moore can all be sent packing for all I care. You can't in any way persuade me that Rodgers, Brady, or Mahomes wouldn't have won this game

can’t trade Dak
Too big a cap hit
We’re stuck with this idiot for 3 more years
He’ll win the NFC east and be one and done in the playoffs unless we get a limping team like Philly
Cutting him actually costs the same as keeping him. But then you'd need a new QB. Trading him is impossible not because of our cap hit but because NO team would take on that contract.

If you were a honest person, you would know and admit Dak was hit before he released that pass that was intercepted. Even Romo noticed and said as much. That interception was on Tyron Smith who played like crap (along with the rest of the Oline) all game long.

I am an honest person and honestly I did not see Dak get hit. But even if he did it was a bad decision that preceded the hit. He was holding the ball too long today and it wasn't one play. Did no one notice how Garoppolo was letting the ball go before the pressure got to him? The Cowboys had no sacks, not because they weren't getting pressure. They got no sacks because Jimmy G let the ball go quickly. No double pumps, no hesitation, just quick releases.
