Saw lots of threads this season worrying about whether ol' Jerry would get his beloved credit, be it for a draft pick or "#1 ranked offense", so why stop now?

Let's give ol' Jerry some more credit for being the only favored home team to lose this weekend. Good job, Jerry!

I don’t know. Jerry Jones and his system, whatever the hell that is, put together a team that was filled with talent. Him and McClay got a loaded offense and a surprisingly good defense.

Unkess you’re criticizing him for the Prescott contract. Jerry can’t make Dak throw to open receivers. I didn’t watch that game tonight and have Jerry Jones cross my mind on the list of reasons they lost.

Either Jerry's team is "filled with talent" or they're not.

On one hand you give him credit for all of that alleged talent. Then you go on to blame that alleged talent for failing to make the plays necessary to win.

Do you see the conundrum? Apparently not.

In 30 other NFL cities if your GM can’t win playoff games within 3-5 years they’re fired. Not here. I’m still amazed at how manyCowboys fans give Jerry a pass while holding players and coaches to an even higher standard than the guy at the top.

Don’t get me wrong. Dak sucked today. As did most of this team. But at what point is the guy running this whole thing ever going to be held accountable?

He made Dak make those bad throws and mismanage the time clock (again!) today?

Nope, he just paid Dak $160 million to do it. Jerry's talent evaluation skills are beyond question. It's just that stupid talent's fault for letting him down, again.

Failing to address the interior OL, and the drive killing sacks/pressures/penalties that led to, was the biggest factor. So I guess I’d say the most proximal blame goes to Williams and Biadisz, but you have to look at Will McClay who has been given the keys to the personnel kingdom and ask why he allowed an obvious season killing deficit to go unaddressed?

Will McClay is our GM in practice and has been for some time. The last draft Jerry truly controlled was nearly a decade ago.

I think he put together a team that should have won that game. I can’t ask him for anything else.

That’s not true. McClay gives Jerry a deep dive into the talent pool and makes recommendations. Jerry makes the picks. Jerry hires the coaches. Jerry attends coaches meetings. He looks at offensive game plans. He has made it crystal clear he is still calling the shots.

How do I know this? Because he’s been saying it publicly. If you think Jerry has passed his power on to others, you’re literally not listening to him. He’s calling the shots.

Jerry jones is an egomaniac. I’m sure he’ll get off that it was the highest rated game or some crap.

Zeke can't run.

Coaches won't play pollard.

Dak missing wide open receivers.

Dak forcing check downs when the deep wr is wide open.

Mike, Moore, Dak and anyone else who told or allowed Dak to run into the middle of the field for 13 yards when we only had 6 seconds left to run out the clock and ice our own game.

Keep telling yourself that. If this team ever wins another SB Jerry the GM he will be front and center looking for his accolades.

Until that happens, if it ever does, he owns it. His son is still Director of Player Personnel.

Name one thing Stephen Jones has accomplished in his 25 years in that role? I'll wait.

He put together a team who flopped in the playoffs, again. I suggest you ask him for more, instead of making excuses for him.

Too bad NFL won't put up a vote for the dumbest GM to waste talent in the NFL over the past 25 years. He'd win in a landslide! If I was Parsons I'd request a trade tomorrow.

We have fans who are victims of the NFL's version of Stockholm Syndrome. They know the Joneses are going nowhere, so they can't blame them for anything that happens. They stand by the Joneses because they have no choice as Cowboys fans, and tell themselves they aren't the problem because they need a reason for hope.
