Pretty dumb on Daks part. Anyone blaming the refs for this loss is suffering from denial. Sounds like Dak wants to deflect away from yet another bad performance from him and his offense.

I didn’t think Dak had the makeup of a champion before this comment now I think he’s a total loser.
yeah , lets say they did clock it with one second left, they would have 1 play for 30 yd td pass or maybe run??:muttley:

How many of you think they would have scored on that 1 play?????? I would say there was only a 1% chance they could have got a td there.
2 from the 40 would have given them a better chance.
Mike was a idiot for try to run and clock just to get closer. With 14 sec left just not enough time, maybe if they had 20 sec left.

and yeah this is the real dak showing with this statement, he let his mask down for a moment.;)

Correct or not, there are some things you do not say as the QB and leader. It brings the wrong attention and will guarantee that you get screwed in the future. He made a horrible decision especially since he played poorly and helped the team to lose.

It was petty. It was tactically a horrible decision to say, and it was poor leadership...which is weird since he's usually a good leader. Something is definitely up with him.
Agreed. Dak is not the only one voicing his displeasure about the officials. Other players, along with Coach McCarthy, are frustrated with the officials.

Dude, voicing displeasure about officials is one thing. Condoning throwing stuff at them is another. The first is bad tactically. The second is really bad. And "Others do it too!" is not a valid defense. He's the leader of the team and the face of it. He should know how this looks and be smart enough to not do it.

I understand the frustration. However, they had chances to win and make sure the refs didn't have a chance to influence and the entire team was flat. Rather than whine about the refs they should have came prepared to actually play like they wanted to win.

Dak is not who he was before this season's injury. It's mental and he better get it fixed and stop saying really stupid things that will absolutely screw the team in the future with the refs.

Others are displeased with the refs but didn't say "Credit to them" when people were throwing stuff at the refs.

I hate referees as much as anyone can hate. And they have screwed us more than a few times this season. But, today, the Dallas Cowboys committed the penalties and deserved the flags they got. No excuses for the bad play and coaching they exhibited today.

Moronic fans. It's not going to change anything.

Really don't care what Dak said, I'd said worse. lol And, it'd be about the fans, myself.

Dak has a jaylon smith and Garrett problem.

He is so incredibly unaware of his surroundings and and actual skill level as a player. He says the things a robot says because he wants more money.

At the end of the day, he’s a 4th round pick with below average arm talent and a small brain. Appreciate him fighting back from his foot but that’s football.

I hate Dak but after all the rediculous calls and non-calls this year, as a frustrated fan, they should have jumped over the railing and kicked the crap out of the refs.

This is Philly behavior. If the fans had batteries no doubt they would have been thrown.

Stop blaming the refs and execute. Refs miss calls. Both teams know that going in.

I said weeks ago I thought the leadership thing with Dak was highly overrated as well. My example was stuff he was beginning to say to throw a pity party and letting his brother talk bad about other Cowboys players on twitter. This kind of closes the case that he's also overrated in the leadership aspect. I feel terribly for the guy personally as he's gone through stuff no one should ever have to endure. But, Dak is sure seems to be an average player and with all of this I don't think I'd even say an average leader. Leaders don't act like this.

Meh. Dak is correct. So are the players and the coaches. Everyone sees the officials constantly messing up calls that hurt the Cowboys at the worst times, which have contributed to losses. Sure, Dak should not have agreed with the fans throwing bottles at the officials, but I don't blame him or them for venting. Enough is enough. Time to put Roger Goodell and his crooked officials on notice. It's no longer a fair game when games are critically decided by very bad calls by the officials. Goody boy image is not fixing this problem.

And once again, it's the same Romosexuals spewing their dumb crap comments and hate towards Dak. Agenda driven drivel finally coming out in the open. Was expected. Funny because Dak is here to stay and rightfully so. Too bad some can't deal with that.

Not a good look for him or his endorsements. Hopefully, this dies down but I would not bet on it. This is just not done by QB's in the NFL. It's not like he had time to think about it and reacting to the news it was aimed at the refs and not his teammates but that was a real gaffe. But his predecessor did it before him and survived.

He will be OK because he's considered a good guy and the team's MotY nominee.

I expect the owner and player to hear from the league office today about his comments.
