If we had Ryan Tannehill, we'd have won today and probably even had the #1 seed. Dak's inability/unwillingness to break the pocket and run the ball in key moments is such a killer for this offense. Defenses are rushing 4 and dropping 7 into zone coverage...Dak takes a coverage sack or throws an incompletion and suddenly it's 2nd/3rd and long. With a mobile QB, they are making the defense pay and turning it into 2nd/3rd and short.

Look, I like Dak. He seems to be a great guy and everything and he has had to overcome a lot of adversity in his life, from his mom passing away from cancer to his brother's suicide to his gruesome leg injury. So from a personal aspect I am pulling for the guy to do well.

Here is the problem however, the dude aint Rogers, Brady, Mahommes but he is being paid like he is. You cant demand $40 mill a year and barely beat anybody over .500 and lose 3 out of your 4 playoff games during your first 6 seasons.

Obviously Dak is not going to go anwhere for the next two seasons, but I would start looking for a QB to start developing because Dak is not worth what he is currently being paid.

I finally voted in this case. Didn't during the season because I thought he can still step up in a clutch game. But since the season is over and Dak was once again (against a good team) just bad if not to say embaressing for a franchise QB,. And since he is in his 6th year, I can't see much progress in the future.

And to all the Dak lovers, honest guys, even with the most love for him one can muster, you have to see that he just sucks when it matters. Along with alot of other guys, I give you that. But he's the supposed leader, the supposed man of the hour. The guy who turns around a ship off course if necessary or who is supposed to find the solution for an overwhelming problem on the field. And he just can't.

That's the way it is.

Wow, I’m actually surprised so many people said no. Rockport is rolling over in his grave right now.
I haven’t seen him post in a while. Something happened to him and I don’t know about. Can you respond to that.

I can't answer the question because it's both a yes and no. I'm happy with him as QB while he maintains a middling cap hit. This year and next year's restructure. But as soon as he starts costing the team with 30+ million cap hits, absolutely not happy. But by 2023, and largely depending on how high the cap becomes, it may not be so bad.

Dak is a decent system QB, but his inability to read the field when the talent levels are even on the opposite side of the football.

Dallas needs to focus on recreating an elite o-line this offseason to give him more time to see the field.

It will probably take the locker room turning on him to get rid of him. I don't see that happening. Dak is here to stay and needs to develop. Again, who is the QB coach?
