Dak is a decent system QB, but his inability to read the field when the talent levels are even on the opposite side of the football.

Dallas needs to focus on recreating an elite o-line this offseason to give him more time to see the field.

I'll go with this for now, good post. I also believe priority number ONE is maintaining more discipline about penalties, particularly false starts. In fact the whole cadence system needs to be looked at. It costs us way to many drives and we do NOT have a QB that can come back from that. Without stupid penalties we may actually have won this game. If what's his name that causes these all the time is unable to stop committing this penalty, then get rid of him.

He said the negativity of the board was getting to him and he didn’t want to be here anymore
Thank you, some people just can’t handle it. I know two people personally that passed away. I was hoping we didn’t lose another. I miss CERN haven’t seen him in a while

Pre-injury, I liked Dak and felt that combined with a steady dose of Zeke/Pollard, it would be an extremely solid combo. Post-injury, the team refuses to run the ball as a rule and consequently, the entire offense relies on Daks ability to make the perfect decision every time.

It’s too much to ask from a fourth rounder.

I’m just curious, how much dead money would we have if we cut bit Dak and Zeke before the 6/1/2022 deadline. I am willing to take 20 steps back to start all over again. Unfortunately our fearless leader probably thinks we are one long snapper away from winning a super bowl. Jerry Jones is the problem and will always will be.

Like Tom Brady? 3 of his OL are in the Pro Bowl this year. He has elite talent at WR and an All World TE and multiple Pro Bowlers on defense.

I saw Tom Brady Play without his 2 starting RB's today while also missing Goodwin and 2 starting OT who got hurt....and we won't mention he lost AB too....want to know the result?....Tampa was up 31-0 before the eagles scored some late TD's....I never liked Brady but he is what you call TALENT

Anyone that watches the o- line perform can see the weaknesses. I have a question. Does this team practice or is that a thing of the past.

I'm even doubting his leadership at this point. How can someone who's so obviously afraid to play be a leader of men? I've given him the benefit of the doubt for far too long, but I now realize we're going nowhere with him. He's not even a bus driver. He's the annoying guy behind the driver.

Ive got the feeling for awhile now that Amari Cooper isn’t that impressed with Dak.

I thought he was better than people are giving him credit for given how poorly this offensive line played. Did he ever have decent protection? Were we ever able to establish a run game so that the 49ers would have to worry about Zeke or Pollard -- the ideal scenario for setting up a passing game? Nope. Instead, we were treated to a slew of penalties, sacks and hurry-up throws.

If everything has to be perfect for your 40m QB to win...then he really isn't worth the 40m..is he?

Why do people keep thinking we can maintain an elite offensive line when it is more people to draft and more money to maintain than a single position? Eventually Elite Lines become Average and then Bad. Some of us been noting that since day 1 when we had some concerns about the quarterback, that any quarterback will eventually have to be good enough to overcome deficiencies at the Line. Dak has gotten a bit Better and I am not one of those that wants to toss him, but I just find it comical where on one side you had Romo having to play with a punctured lung because of his line, and now we have a line that is protecting Dak for the most part and people point to it.

I voted yes and will stand by it. He is a good qb who is expected to be elite. What I am not happy with is how he is used.

My emotions like so many fans are running high right now so I'm not thinking rationally but last night almost cost me a TV as my foot was so close to going through the screen.

I've been a fan of Dak since 2016 and felt his leadership skills being "off the charts" as well as "pretty good skillset /quite a bit better than average / maybe top 10 QB" were more than enough to steer us to a shot at the big one.

I have to say though that I voted no...........it took me a while to press the button but I did it. I don't feel too good about it but I'm trying to be rational.

Dak was not the reason we lost last night but he was a contributor. The opportunity was there for him to carry the team and pick apart a frankly poor 49ers secondary but it never happened. I'm kinda in the "if it's not going to happen by year 6.........." camp.

The fact remains, we are stuck with the position we are in so there's no out, no trade, no draft pick that will make us better next year than this year and we just need to ride with Dak.......until we don't. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different result but that's where I'm at - watch Dak lead us for the next 3 or 4 years and see if it changes.

He's not a bad QB, I really don't like fans who push that narrative but I did reach the tipping point last night to conclude we will not be able to string 3 or 4 playoff games together with good QB play from Dak.

I feel so low right now, like I've lost a limb or something. The loss to the Rams a couple of years back was worse statistically and we were still growing as a team but last night just felt like "now we know what we are". On top of it, we aren't in a position to change things for a while. That contract is the biggest set of golden handcuffs.

I think we are going to have to enjoy regular season success with a few 40 and 50 burgers sprinkled in again NFC East teams to entertain us in the next few years - it could be worse........

The scheme has to help him. Throw short quick passes. Don’t give him 7 step drops and deep outside throws. RPO.
He plays from the shotgun so that he can get a better look at what the defense I doing. The short quick passes aren't working because the defenses are showing blitz than dropping back 5 yards and its crowded. Better Defenses are forcing Dak to make throws he doesn't feel comfortable making into traffic.

My Dak scouting report:
Leadership - elite
Arm talent - average
Accuracy- average
Processing - average(a little slow)
Pocket awareness - average
A bus driver who’s never going to lead Cowboys to a SB.

Dak is a great guy and has done really well with what he has. But for most of his tenure, this team has been great against bad teams and ineffective against good ones.
