my plan b is to be here for years laughing at you dak homers for being happy he killed this team for at the least 2 more years. dak garrett, team killer. what's even funnier is the stupid homers who were happy he got paid. what idiots!

The biggest homer has left the building. I have a theory that Rockport was Tad Prescott.

Too many chefs in the kitchen.....your getting input from McCarthy....the jerkoff they brought in from the Giants...Philbon.....Jerry....Stephen....hell...I wouldn't be shocked if you got the crackpot special teams guy throwing in his 2 cents.....and in the end....your got Dak changing 1/2 the plays....anyway. It's a crapshow.
My issue with that though is it shouldn't be that many chefs. Its Kellen and Kellen only. Get all of these guys out of here. It doesn't take that many people to run a offense.

What do you think the Packers think having arguably the best QB in the league and only winning 1 Super Bowl in the 13 years he’s started? This is a team game. Dak didn’t play well the last half of the season, but thinking he can win when the TEAM constantly digs themselves in holes with penalties/mistakes, no running game, bad run D, suspect play calling, etc… is a little delusional.

So the question is what makes everyone want to go through the QB carousel for several years to luck into a top 3 QB? And let’s say we get this magical QB who can do it all… that still doesn’t guarantee a thing if the team around him is mediocre (aka Rodgers). Wouldn’t you rather be competitive every year with a decent QB that could possibly win it all with the right team around him?

Of course it is . . Problem is Dak requires a Fantasy Team in order to function . . . If one piece falters or Loses any amount of time . . . This "TEAM" is dead in the water

And While Everyone knows they are watching a Team game its one player that we hope doesn't have his head up his arse that game

Dak is a TEAM ANCHOR

So thank you for being one of those who constantly hang on that Straw man . . . and find the need to constantly point that out. . . .

So you can immediately pivot to bashing every player who on this team . . . ANYONE AND EVERYONE is fair game

As you explain away the Last 6 years and as you will do for the next 3

Because this TEAM is gonna have to shed some weight to feed DAK

Other organizations have found their way out of similar mistakes. May be painful but you have to accept that you should never take the field with this player as your QB again. Drastic mistakes call for drastic choices.

How anyone can watch the three other teams in our division and think “yeah, that’s the sort of QB situation Dallas should aim for” is beyond my powers of comprehension.

Lots of young fans here who never had to endure 2000-2005, and older fans who have seemingly forgotten. You want to go back to the days of Drew Henson and Chad Hutchinson? A time when 87 year old Vinny Testeverde was thought of as decent around here?

No thanks
Why do you talk as if its a foregone fact we will be in QB Purgatory . . . its that kind of Rationale that got a Mediocre Over Achiever with 1 leg that CONTRACT.

There are too many variables

Brady, Stafford, Wentz, Goff, Tannenhill have changed teams and that is not to mention the influx of Talent that has come in the league . . . College are producing a lot of talented QBs . . .

You Don't become tied to a player based on your argument

Its sad and pathetic its Foolish Desperation

And you get what we have now

A Broken Pipe Dream that is occupying valuable resources . . . THE CAP.

It goes both ways . . . Get a top 12 QB and spread out the savings amongst the rest of Roster . . . This team is good at recognizing talent . . . Imagine if we had more Cap space to spend

Dak shines in the NFC East and against Bottom Dwellers . . . (All those QBs i mentioned would also shine). . . Problem is He is garbage against Quality teams. . . He becomes middle of the road at best . . . Which is who He is

Are you telling me The Cowboys couldnt acquire that

Rodgers wanted out this season problem is we invested in Dak and we were out of Cap space . .

So stop with that STRAWMAN . . .

Its OUTDATED that was so 2019

This has been Dallas long before Dak was here. So what's your Dak solution then? @0 years, No Dak. Same or far worse endings. Here's your chance. And don't say Rush. Because then we will know you're just a tool. My solution? Hire a real coach and go from there. Let the new coach hire his own staff also. Not a Jerry Jones next favorite feel good friend.

What's Cleveland's solution besides Mayfield? Or Baltimore's besides Jackson? Should they just pay them 40 mil. a year? If the only car you can purchase is a 1975 Vega for 50k, would you buy it for a lack of a better alternative? Or do something else? The goal is to win a championship and pay players that can achieve that goal.

Right now Dak is ok because his cap hit is friendly. Maybe Dallas can get lucky and make a run before it isn't. Because he's not garbage. He's good enough given the talent around him. But once his cap hit becomes outrageous, he's useless. Better to go 2-15 than 9-8 or one and done in the playoffs. This way maybe we can draft a Joe Burrow.

At this point you trade anybody on the downside. Hire new coaching staff and hopefully Jerry (moves on) during the process

This current Cowboys brain trust (Jerry/Stephen/McClay) is positively awful at evaluating quarterback talent.

They lucked out with Dak and as we know, the guy they really wanted was Paxton Lynch.

The other quarterbacks drafted by this triumvirate: Stephen McGee, Ben DiNucci and Mike White. Not a worthwhile one in the bunch.

For the crowd that so badly wants to move on from Dak, they need to ask themselves if they trust this organization to not take years finding a half-decent replacement.
Paxton Lynch. . . Paxton Lynch. . . Paxton Lynch. . . Paxton Lynch. . . Paxton Lynch. . . Paxton Lynch. . . Paxton Lynch. . .

THIS IS THE SADDEST STRAW MAN ARGUMENT of them all . . another outdated argument circa. . . 2017

Same story every year. Players come and players go. But there is one constant, the owner and his poor decision making is what ruins these players careers and gives us a country club atmosphere here. We will never go anywhere with Jerry running this team. It’s not Dak’s fault or the QB before him and either.

My solution... admit that Dak is good to very good with the ability to play elite level AT TIMES. The whole build the OL and build around the run game is the move to me. The defense has shown they can be good. Other teams without elite QBs (like the 49ers) don't rely on their good QB to play at elite levels consistently. Dak is better than JG by a mile. Let him be the best bus driver in the NFL.

Was that an overthrow by Wilson? I wasn't sure if it was that, or if Pollard came toward the inside instead of going straight up the sideline.
Which one? The one he threw off his back foot right before getting hit? It's hard to tell because there were so many bad throws and lazy routes it's hard to keep track.
