I agree, Zeke has a torn PCL and wears a knee brace...no excuse for not starting and getting the bulk of the carries...

Exactly my point. If Pollard is 100%, use him in spite of the backlash. Zeke, has looked terrible, but somehow he gets the lions share? Either it is bad coaching or a governor has been set.

In fairness, we really didn’t run either guy. I think they gave up on our OL and running the ball before the game. Clearly the game plan was to throw the ball all game….not a good playoff idea. When you don’t run, playaction is lost. The defense was so bad in the first half, I think they panicked and started passing every play, and while Pollard is the best receiver in the backfield, keeping Zeke in there was another admission that they had no faith in the OL.

Try to think clearly people....the root cause is.....OC who doesn't know what a run game is....pretty terrible fault for an NFC East team. Even the Eagles can run.

He wasn't used much for the same reason as the regular season - they need Zeke in for the blitz pickups and to pound the ball for first downs, because the o-line blocking is horrible.

Sad, Cowboys have had a great, great offensive line at least 3 times in the past - the 70's, the early 90's and the late 2010's. And you will notice that's when the playoff successes happened.

Still time to fix that, the defense has several young to very young good defenders, offensive linemen can contribute very quickly, Martin was All Pro his first year, Larry Allen by his 3rd year (and Pro Bowler his second), Tyron by his 4th (and he had to move from RT to LT in his second year), Frederick was a PB player by his second year.

The draft this year needs to be split between OL and DL, maybe a LB if a high ranked one happens to fall to Dallas' spot.

Otherwise we're just spinning our wheels, we'll see the same scenario we've seen for 26 years - one first round playoff win every 3 or 4 years....

Clearly, you have not been following the discussion. I never blamed Zeke for anything. This is above his pay grade. Out of 16 runs a one kneed player gets 12, an explosive, 100% healthy back gets 4, is that good coaching? The team has no identity and it is due to much meddling from the power source. Look through my post, I have been a Zeke follower, since he played at my favorite college, Ohio State.

Pollard is not 100% healthy, you don't get over a torn plantar fascia if you're playing every week, it takes either surgery or a prolonged rest.

hard to run on 3rd and 15+ all game due to what? 14 penalties Mostly on the OL..thats the answer all day this is my paste and cut

the offensive line, both with the execution and penalties cost us the game ..ill paste and cut this on all threads looking for answers. they torpedoed so many drives i lost count.

all those plays all game before that especially on the drive before and after halftime is on dak?> the sunlight the OL mistakes being behind the chains. I mean its blatantly obvious to actual fans to why we lost the game

the OL that's if. Other penalty's come in 2nd like pre-snap on the DL what 3 of them?

real fans who aren't emotional right now see why we lost...mistakes on the lines you win and lose in the trenches, and it cost us on both sides.

But that is what our coach has been saying, just ask Dre. He ran kickoffs and had four carries, and he was on the field for other plays but not utilized.
