I think the most concerning thing all night was Diggs avoiding contact like the plague. I know he is a ballhawk, but his willingness to loaf around and not attack the ball carrier is absurd.

I would say this is definitely something he is going to need to figure out and coached on moving forward.

trust me. That was not lost on the 49ers when they watched film. They clearly saw our lack of physicality. I laughed out loud every time we ran a WR screen...as if our WRs were actually going to block. So many people that are close to the game warned all week that the 49ers were too physical for us. And it was glaring from the 1st snap of the game.

If you don’t have the cojones to stick your nose in their and tackle, there isn’t anybody coaching that in you at this point.

he is what he is. He’s gonna gamble, he’s gonna make some big plays, and he is going to get roasted at times. He is not going to play a physical game at corner.

Diggs is a good CB who is way way way overhyped by our fan base
Good coverage (nothing great) and piss poor tackling

this team has too many players looking for that highlight and no lunch pail guys

all fluff and no substance just like the owner and the QB

Diggs got beat twice that is pretty good for a corner one was incomplete, the other took 4 seconds to run because Armstrong was afraid of Jimmy G getting outside of him

Didn't Deion Sanders get accused of this same thing.

I said early in the season: he's very much like Deion Sanders.

Yesterday was the most aggressive he’s been all season in this regard Lolol. Weird post.

The same thing I was thinking. Diggs was very physical yesterday. I guess everyone didn't get to watch the whole game yesterday.

SF had 38 carries for 169 yards...If you can't stop the run, you're not winning...

The last time we made the playoffs we were eliminated because we couldn't stop the run. Three years later it was the same thing. Our top notch front office did nothing to resolve the issue. Still playing a bunch of slop at DT.

Amazingly, they will still do nothing.

he was below average today. gave up a big big play to Aiyuk when he lost him and left him wide open.... I get it. we want trunovers but you have to play CB first, which means cover your guy.

I mean if throwing your body horizontally at a WR is being physical then he is doing it wrong. He wanted no part in actually tackling someone.
