I expected it to hurt more

Maybe it's because of the last 27 years or maybe it's because I've lowered my expectations, but the loss yesterday just doesn't hurt like I thought it would.

Dak sucked, zeke sucked, we got outcoached, the zebras did everything they could to help.

Literally nothing new, I've seen this story so many times before and frankly it's not surprising.

I guess this is how it feels to be a Browns or lions fan, just expect it to happen and when it does its not a big deal.

At least today is a better day than it would have been in years past

It’s like a fine wine. It gets better with time. I like to see them win but just don’t get all excited like I used too. If they don’t care why should I.

I expected this after the Cowboys lost to the short handed Cardinals at home.

Yep, that was a huge red flag late in the season. Some brushed it off, some even got mad at me for citing it.

Arizona lost 4 of their last 5 games - including a blowout to Detroit. They beat Dallas. Dallas whupped some bad NFC East teams to finish 4-1. Those wins meant nothing.

I expected it to hurt less. I was prepared for that type of performance because that’s my expectations of Dak after watching him so long.

Even though I knew what to expect I’m still upset and sick to my stomach about it.

That loss hurts because I don’t see any hope at all for this team I’m it’s current form and the Dak deal really screws us going forward. That contract was a massive mistake.

I’m not hurt but I am angry and negative . I hate everything about the organization this morning . Jerry , the coaches. The players. The fan base , myself for being an idiotic fan of these choker flame outs. Literally everything.

Yeah man, thats fair....I guess I've just accepted it...Watching that clip of Jerry hobbling to the locker room with 2 mins to go told me everything I need to know about this team. Then watching our fans throwing trash at the officials running off the field told me even more.

This might honestly be the last year that I watch with regularity and care, as a fan the only fun thing left is celebrating wins with my 7 and 5 year olds....and hopefully the 18 month old at some point

Song Remains The Same...Cowboys didn't beat any good teams in the last half of the season...Next year we play a first place schedule and should finish the season with a high draft pick.

Anyone who thought this team wasn't one and done, well I was hoping for the best. :(

I'm with ya. Didn't watch alot of the game. I used to get so excited to watch this team but I knew it would end in misery. They choke when it counts

I 100% expected them to lose. I even called it in the early 1st quarter that we were going to see the "heroics" in the 4th but by then it was way too late. This was all scripted out for me so I am fine. Next season I have no clue if things will change, can hope, only hope.

Based on what I’ve seen since the bye it didn’t hurt as much. The only reason I even had higher expectations was because Parson.

I’ve loss faith in the oline Zeke kicker and Moore a while ago and never regained it.all that said and Their futility still exceeded expectations. We weren’t a well oiled machine.

2007, Dez catch, And all Those 8-8 finishes hurt worst.

Doesn't hurt at all anymore. It's like a bad comedy movie.

It hurts! I didn’t think we would lose in wildcard round to Jimmy G… I can see Brady or Rodgers but freaking Jimmy G!

Until we beat good teams during the regular season, I'm not drinking the kool-aid. I thought this team might be different but the boneheaded penalties and lack of discipline proved it was the same old boys. It wasn't the hot boys bad but it was like hot boys lite. Side note, I'm surprised more people aren't talking about diggs. There were several plays the wr was wide open and diggs was either not in the play or slowly getting into the play. He needs to work on just being a solid corner back in defense.

It's so bad that I expected it. I didn't even get any real feelings of anticipation for the playoffs.

I am so jaded as a Cowboys fan that now I consider a winning record and the NFC East title a successful season. And I realize how pathetic that is.
