Fix the O-Line

That’s the first and one of the only things we need to do. Today the O-Line coach should be fired. Way to many penalties over the season. Some that cost us big time…

I do hope Dak improves this offseason. After the injury he has not looked the same. The QB draw at the end of the game should have been not only earlier in the game but through the season. He has to take off. It’s part of his game. Takes the pressure off some of the Offense..

By the end of the game I was out of it. Just checked out. If they don’t improve expect the same. We knew they would run the ball but letting the qb look that good was bad.

Getting rid of Williams should cut the penalties in half. Hell, I would be more than happy to get rid of overpaid Collins and let Steele play.
I agree. Collins is not playing the way he was. We need to draft some quality. And develop what we have but this O-Line coach has to go. They were so undisciplined I knew the penalties would kill us.. This has to be a priority. We know Dak may have hit his ceiling. So he needs this O-Line to be good. I don’t know what happened to him after the injury but he isn’t trusting himself..

A majority of the problems are pretty simple that a solid offensive minded coach could change.

Long developing pass plays is our biggest issue. How many times have we played guys like Jimmy G., Kyler Murray etc. and we don't even touch them. Quick developing passes is the key. Let Dak drop back, 2-3 steps and hit the slant, screen, post etc. All of these long timing vertical routes just kill us.

I'd be shocked if an interior OL isnt the 1st pick for us. Seems this offense just cant move without a top unit. LG & C would be my top 2 priorities this offseason. I'm not completely soured on Biadasz, but I wouldnt hesitate to replace him if I had a top prospect there. Unfortunately I think we may have to roll the dice on our Ts again for next year. Hard to completely overhaul an entire 4/5th of your oline in one offseason. Look at the Bengals, Giants, etc who have been trying to do it for half a decade now.

100% and it wouldnt hurt if Dak could process faster and throw the ball instead of double pumping all the time. His pocket awareness is horrible is as well. Not sure if you can teach that.

Williams is gone. I don’t know if would work but I might trade Jarwin and Collins before the draft. Having a new OC with a short passing game will help too.

I feel like a lot of fans are blind to the fact that other QB's operate just fine under worse situations. Did anyone watch Mahomes get harassed yesterday?

They are. I mean most think Dak is elite so that’s your crowd.

I was expecting that yesterday. Slants and getting the ball out of his hands. We knew they had a good defense. And we made jimmy look like brady. They threw shorter passes and ran like we thought they would..

There is not real significant difference between Dak and Garappolo. But one guy yesterday stood in a clean pocket, while the other was being harassed.

The common denominator off all the losses, save for the one to TB, was the offensive line could not protect Dak. I am not making excuses for Dak's gaffs.

But this offense is greatly different when Dak can play mostly unmolested.

Now the Kleenex Teardrop Set will throw a fit. But the fact is Dallas is as good a team as San Fran. If you take into account Dallas needs a left guard and right tackle, and a massive DT.

It's easier to blame Dak for everything.

Truth is, this falls on a front office that cannot see year after year the same problems with the defensive line and the offensive line.

You have flipped flopped more than a bass in a boat bottom this year. I guess straddling the fence is things change is a form of consistency.

Confused.. What did I flip flop on?

My stance is Dak’s a good QB but terrible value and signing him was a bad move.

The only time I ever wavered was his start to this season which was a brand of football I’ve never seen him play before and he went right back to o what he was in Denver.

A LOT of truth here.
