To see another Super Bowl title from Dallas in my lifetime. Unfortunately for me I'm near Stephen's age and with their Billions. Both will have better health care and lifestyle to probably out live me any way. But hey? You have to have hope on something dealing with the Cowboys. NOT!!! That I'm wishing anything on Jerry or Stephen. I hope both have a long healthy life but what I said earlier still goes. I doubt if we win anything with either in charge. I think we won't start winning until Charlotte takes the reins. So unless you're super young? Good Luck.
Moving to the team now
Dak. I'd give Dak one more year to figure it out. I'd also take a quarterback earlier in the draft this year to show Dak I'm serious. Don't know why Dak zones out early in games then find his groove late. That's something a great quarterback coach could figure out. Jerry should hire Norv to work with Dak in the off season.
Zeke..Been following Zeke since Ohio State days. I'm glad he came to Dallas but it's probably time to release him if Cap allows it. WR. Coop is like Dak. When he doesn't get the ball early he zones out also. Lamb thinks he's better then he is. And I think early success has gone to his fake hair-head.
Offensive line is a JOKE. I'd replace everybody minus Martin and make it clear to him he's next if he doesn't return to playing like old. On defense I 'm not gonna spend a ton on Gregory. I'm ready to move on if needed. Same with Lawrence. I'd keep him a year or two more then cut the string or more importantly do something Jerry never does...TRADE! Minus drafting a true run stopping DT and linebackers. I think the defense staying healthy and getting a good DC if Quinn leaves will be ok. Coaching? McCarthy brings nothing to the table. I'd fire him and keep Quinn in a heartbeat. Moore would be gone today. I'd hire another linebacker coach. Another OC and go from there. Couldn't sleep last night. That's on me for letting this losing organization get to me that much. But in reality. I did post that they were a year away. And I still believe this if Jerry would just make the right moves and finally spend some real money for real players in Free agency. Sorry for the length of this thread but a lot was needed to be covered. Peace and I hope all have a great-safe- off season.

Assuming Stephen is going to be much different than Jerry is wishful thinking. Stephen has worked for one NFL team and had one boss. This is all he knows.

Stephen will step into Jerry's shoes and most likely hand his current lofty position to his son. Best of luck to us.

I wouldn't say that. We don't know if Stephen is the egotistical narcissist that Jerry is. Will Stephen want to treat it as his play toy or will he view it as a business investment?

Idk I don’t see Stephen as ego driven as Jerry. We can only hope he isn’t

Stephen doesn’t care about winning like his dad. Will be worse.

His dad cares about winning, but that's not number one. If it was he'd have hired a GM. Jerry cares about using it as his fantasy football team. He cares about doing it his way. He cares about the money.. All of that takes precedence over winning.

Until the Jones family retires to the owners box and hire people who have dedicated their life to football to run this team, there isn't much hope. When a player knows he only has to please the owner and knows the coaches are puppets with no control over personnel, the coaches have very little chance of getting their best.
