For years this era we were defined by one of the best OL in the league and a dominating running game.

Somewhere along the line we have aborted that . This season we were 11-0 when rushing for 100 yards of more.

Our running game opened up our passing game while masking our weaknesses on defense controlling time of possession keeping our opponents offense on the bench.

But we begin believing our qb and passing game was our strength . Maybe it was by design wanting to validate a contract. IDK but we need to get back to our strengths which this team was built on.

Problem is this team needs the best of everything in order to win and that’s just not possible. If any part of the team just becomes average, it is doomed. The offensive line hasn’t been nearly as bad as people claim but anything less than 2014-2016 dominating performances makes them trash.

Not saying much but Romo won two playoff games with arguably less talented teams. Dak is 1-3 in the playoffs. 61% comp. 6 td. 3 int.

I love Romo but neither are the answer. What can you do tho, you’re married to Dak

shrug

jerry went all in on dak and it was a bust (a lot of people know from the start it would be but that is another story!)

now cowboys and us fan deal with that mistake

The Cowboys are Jerry's money printing machine. In that respect their identity has not changed one bit. Still top of the charts when it comes to value. Yet the product on the field doesn't seem to matter to the Jones company. As long as the money is coming in to pay the bills nothing will change. The stadium is always full. Merchandise is always selling. The Jones company has built a bullet proof money making machine. Fans be damned.

D-Law is the poster child for this team. Plays pretty good for a bit, starts to drop off in production, gets paid too much anyway because we "just can't afford to lose him", plays worse after he gets paid, then says "it is what it is" with a shrug. This place is poison to any player with heart.

I completely agree! I believe under Dak they r something like 29-0 when they run more than pass!!! When Dak throws 40+ times it’s a recipe for failure! Problem is Moore and the front office believe Dak is better than what he is! Until they realize he is a good QB, not elite, they r doomed! They need to get rid of Moore! He is brainwashed in believing Dak is elite! They gotta out the players in better positions to succeed and throwing Dak is not doing that! Our best drive yesterday is when we ran the ball and played physical at the los. We did the same the first quarter of the year and Dallas had believers! Why did the change that style????? I just don’t get it?!?!?!?

I remember this board clamoring to run JG out of here because he wanted to run run , they wanted a wide open offense. Well

Teams just laugh at us. I remember Ray Lewis calling our plays vanilla and knowing what we were going to do before we hiked the football.
I remember the Giants during their Super Bowl run clowning us. And even before this game, the Niners were talking smack.

And what do we do?

We roll over and let the other team scratch our bellies.

It's pathetic.

Teams used to fear us.

Not anymore.

Moreover, Dallas was 7-0 when either Zeke or Pollard rushed for 70 yards.

Spreading the field and throwing all over the place worked against weaker teams. Good teams will slow a one-dimensional Dak-led offense, as SF did yesterday.

We've seen it before, but it just keeps happening. Moore needs to change his philosophy or be replaced. San Fran's type of offense makes more sense for this team.

This OL has been on the decline for years and now, it is downright bad. They don't open holes. They can't sustain a clean pocket. Even when Bosa went out, they got constant pressure.

But yet we were still 11-0 when rushing for a 100 yards or more.

It appears to me the better defenses are simply able to stifle running game which puts pressure on our weakness in OL of pass blocking and of course our QB.

But I would agree our OL had declined. I think it started losing Frederick.

That stat can be very misleading. Are we 11-0 because we rushed for 100 yards or we just happened to? Usually when we win games, we are leading late and are running more. I can't remember that many wins that came BECAUSE the run. And Pollard breaking off some long runs helped skew that average. We no longer can run with any consistency to control the game. Those days are long gone.

The Dallas Cowboys are all style over substance, sizzle over steak, that has been their identity and will continue to be so under these people.

You put 2014 Romo on this team yesterday,we crush the 9ers..they weren't gonna take away the passing game like teams have done with Dak.

But why are they long gone. Is it because of our talent or schemes and priorities?
