Draft one and get rid of him.

Hes regressed, big time

Scared to throw unless a guy is WIDE OPEN, and he's even missing those guys too often.

He made 1 , ONE , NFL throw tonight of significance into a tight window.
We've been hoodwinked
I'd love to see Norv Turner work off season with him. Look who Dak has as an OC and quarterback coach.:facepalm:Would Aikman had been Aikman without Norv?

Plan B: Throw Prescott in the trash and sign a new QB to blame everything on from World hunger to the death of Betty White.

With the commitment the Cowboys made to Dak there is no Plan B. Dak is going to have to figure out what went wrong the second half of the season for him and correct it. He never returned to form after the calf injury. He was playing as good as I’ve ever seen him play prior to that. It’s a mystery what went wrong with him and the offense the second half of the season.

I know, but then you gotta remember that Jerry is the owner, and his idea of QBs are Paxton Lynch, Brandon Weeden, and Johnny Manziel.

pretty much every single team had those guys rated higher than Dak. Jerry doesn't scout or make the big board. He listened to his personnel guys who like most GM's and scouts were wrong.

How good would Dak be with better coaches and coaching? Look what happened to the DEFENSE with better coaching. In ONE year!!!
I'm not sure, I really think it simply comes down to being balanced. Some expect a QB to overcome no running game, but that's just insane.

This has been Dallas long before Dak was here. So what's your Dak solution then? @0 years, No Dak. Same or far worse endings. Here's your chance. And don't say Rush. Because then we will know you're just a tool. My solution? Hire a real coach and go from there. Let the new coach hire his own staff also. Not a Jerry Jones next favorite feel good friend.
Dak was plan B - Plan A was don't sign him for 40 mill per year!

Why are you wording it like this is on Prescott? There's a common denominator that some fans are conveniently leaving out of the equation. I'll give you a hint: The weakest link didn't score all of our TDs vs. SF.

I’m not putting it all on Dak, I support him as our QB. Nowhere in my post did I pin the loss yesterday on him, however he didn’t play well and hasn’t played well the second half of the season. The OL was terrible. Our defense had issues stopping the run and tackling. We came out flat with no energy. The loss was a total team effort.

I cana't post a new thread but I would like someone with full membership to post this: "What is Dak's throwing problem and can it be corrected?" My view is that he throws almost every time with maximum velocity. This results in the ball sailing high or into the dirt too many times and it hurts his aim, resulting in too many balls behind his receivers. You have to have some touch like the better quarterbacks: Brady, Rodgers, Homes, Allen, etc. Their throws are "kind" to their receivers. 1.They lead them so they can catch the ball in stride. 2. They get the ball to the receivers with some arc on it--fast enough to get there and far enough to lead so the prospects against interception are still low. 3. Accuracy is so important. Dak doesn't have it on a consistent basis, probably because he is throwing too hard, which leads me to 4. Velocity.
Dak thinks he needs a 90mph fastball, but that is hard to catch, especially if it is high, low, behind, or even in your cold fingers. 5. Patience. Partly a function of nimbleness in the pocket and protection from his O line. 6. Football IQ Finally, is he smart enough, and are the coaches smart enough, to change his delivery?

At what point are you gonna cine to terms with this fact . . . No matter what play you call Dark will go through His Progressions and still dump the ball off to the RB outlet . . . aka

ANY PLAY THAT THE OC (WHOEVER THAT MAYBE) CALLS WILL EVENTUALLY BECOME THE SAME BROKEN DOWN PLAY.

That makes the Whole team look bad as Dak attempts to execute SAID PLAY from ANY OC living on the face of the Earth . . . Pick any offensive genius who ever lived and that Man will be ran out of Dallas in 2 years

As the Cowboys search for answers
Just thank you this is what I've been thinking for the last 6 years

I put the blame on Jerry Jones. He's the owner/GM who put the staff together, who coaches the players and writes the schemes. We're 11-0 this year with 100 yards or more. With those odds, wouldn't you think more emphasis on the running game be made? The O line and RB positions were the worst on the team. That was clearly obvious vs. playoff caliber teams. Not only is the talent par, but they're playing injured and are breaking records in penalties. Dak isn't John Elway, but non of what I just mentioned were his fault.

This was not a total team loss. JMO.

Other have said it and so will I... We're stuck with Dak, they need to get rid of bloated salaries and start building up the Oline and do an overhaul..

Dak is good enough to win, 14 penalties are hard to overcome... There is a ton wrong with our offense, sure Dak takes some blame but so does
the coordinator and the other players...

Look at what Quinn did with our defense in one off season! Sure that was unprecedented, but the goal here needs to be fixing the offense in the smartest
way possible... As much as we're all hating on Dak, he is still at least middle of the road QB that will be on our roster for at least another 3 years.
I believe the talent on our online is overrated and living on accomplishments in the past.

Of course as long as Jerry meddles we're never going anywhere, it's a tough predicament to be in..

I don't know what Plan B is currently, but the front office should entertain drafting a QB in round 1 of the 2023 draft. Prescott's deal has two void years at the end of it. So his deal essentially can be voided in 2024.

I wouldn't spend a 1st on a QB in 2022, but definitely pull the trigger in 2023 in case it doesn't make sense re-signing Prescott to another mega deal prior to 2024. Dallas would have the young QB on the roster for up to 5 years under a rookie deal and that may be the time to make a decision.

For now, the chips are all in on Prescott for the Cowboys. Jerry says it is Super Bowl or bust, so I assume if he means it, Prescott has two maybe 3 more seasons to fulfill the edict.

We all know the Jones boys though, they won't contemplate drafting the next franchise QB that early on.
