If MM isn’t fired by Wednesday, he’ll probably survive. If he stays, don’t expect anything different next season.
Wouldn't surprise me if they do the same as they do in free agency. Wait for the HC dust to settle, then fire McCarthy and pick one of the left overs to be Head Coach. Or even worse promote from within

In our owners own words this team had enough talent to make a run in the playoffs.

A Super Bowl or Bust mentality regardless how ridiculous and dysfunctional it is for our owner Pres and GM to say as much.

How much of the blame falls on McCarthy. Undisciplined with drive killing and game killing penalties. Time clock Mgmt was a problem all season.

We know he was hired to take this core of talent to the next level. It’s why we made a coaching change. It will be interesting to see if our owner has lost faith in our HC while the prospect of losing our coordinators to other franchises for a HC.

Could all of this influence a tough decision after this gut wrenching playoff loss ending a season with such high expectations?
Hopefully MM out the door back to his barn. If the fans and facts want him gone JJ will do the opposite MM to good of a yes man and saying what Jerry wants to hear.

You go from 6-10 to 12-5 go without a loss in your division yes you deserve another crack at playoff success . One more. Not a decade like JG either , one more .
Most thought there was no chance we’d make a change after regular season but the rumors were already swirling yesterday after our dysfunctional owners comments leading up to the game. And his comments after the game.

I think that a moderate rebuild is necessary. It should start with the entire coaching staff. In free agency, let everyone go. I used to think keeping Gregory was necessary but I think he is part of the problem because he appears to be a dumb player. Maybe I am wrong. But he is a repeat offender and always at the worst times.

The coaching staff has proven over and over they are simply not very smart. Fassel will call a good play once in a while but he also makes some really dumb mistakes on special teams - and he supports a kicker who misses too many kicks. Special teams doesn't have to win games for you but they can't do dumb things that hurt the offense and defense.

They need a coach with is the smartest guy in the locker room, and I do not put Kellen Moore in that category. Maybe it is Quinn but I don't know if that is true. He didn;t look to bright in Atlanta when he blew a huge lead to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. But at least he was in the Super Bowl.

For me after yesterdays dissapointing game we need to give MM one more chance as an offensive play caller. Therefore:
1. Let KM walk as the offensive coordinator via taking another job or just fire him if he has not received offers.
2. MM stays and calls the plays for this offence, since he was bbrought in as a great play caller in GB. He has 1 year to prove
his worth as an offensive mind and see what he does.
3. Keep DQ as defensive coordinator and if next year under MM calling plays fail we name DQ as coach and let MM go..

What you guys think?

KM has not earned the right to be a pro level OC. Let him go get some OJT in college or another franchise! How do you go from being Dak's backup to just OC? Only by the hand of JJ.

But that’s how it works in this dysfunctional organization.

Agreed, I gave Garrett 3, and I'm giving Mike 3, especially as I did see improvement with the team. If this team doesn't do well next year though....

They are all getting on Jerry's party yacht and having the time of their lives as we wallow in our blood, sweat and tears. LOL....ok maybe not that extreme. But the partying is about right, their minds now are on R&R and "party all the time, party all the time, party all the time......." Eddie Murphy..

It really doesn’t matter.

The Cowboys aren’t close to being a championship level team whether they keep McCarthy or fire him.

There is so much blame to go around: undisciplined players, poor coaching, lack of leadership from the front office.

We have learned to expect nothing from this team because that’s what we are going to get.

It all started when Jerry fired Jimmy. You can’t fix stupid.

YOU ARE SPOT ON!

Dan Campbell in Detroit got a 6 yr contact . He gets fired in the next 5 yrs the Lions are on the hook for direct deposits for that length of time . No coach should ever get 6 yrs to turn the Amelia Earhart flight around .

Unless someone within the division finds a QB they will be back in the playoffs and be one and done again. If any NFC East can improve then they possibly miss the playoffs. The good depth the Cowboys had on this team is going bye bye now thanks to contracts like Dak’s and Zeke’s.
