Today everybody is talking about the train wreck that the Cowboys are and that disastrous call at the end of the game.
For megalomaniacs, there is no such thing as bad press.
Stop buying his merchandise. Money talks.
You keep buying his merch prolongs the obvious.
Jerry Jones is the problem.

Jerry is clearly upset.

But the problem is Jerry is largely out of touch with reality because reality involves him accepting the fact he and his son have made questionable roster and coaching decisions. Those two largely struggle at admitting they made mistakes. It took nearly a decade for them to admit their buddy, Garrett, just wasn't a good coach. He can't even get a sniff at another HC job. That should tell you something that in a league of retreads, their undying loyalty to Garrett was a mistake.

I suspect what Jerry and Stephen think right now is McCarthy has done a fine job because they picked him. They'll use the impending DC or OC openings to hire someone new and talk about the change and how it improves the team.

Then next January, we will all sit here and just do and say the same things over and over.

Jerry seems to be slowly realizing his days are numbered. His tone has changed over the last several years and his willingness to give others more control in the front office has increased.

At some point I think his desire to see another title before he dies will lead to drastic changes. I just hope one of them is that he relinquishes all remaining authority over football matters. He can continue with all the money making business stunts he wants, but give McClay and whatever coach we have at the time full control of the personnel.

I am done at this point . I have nothing left for the team . I actually hate the team . Its not healthy and quite toxic .40 years is long enough . The momentary good times dont make up for the constant laughing stock clown show .

Jerry and his extended entourage will be steaming out into Gulf on their way to the Mediterranean for a jaunt until the draft. All will be forgotten by Monday.

You're about 1,000,000 days and $1,000.000,000 short with that comment. We agree, but it's old, old old news....

Jerry seemed pissed after the game but quickly came to the defense of McCarthy when asked if he’d be back. When you lead the league in 2 categories of penalties throughout the entire NFL, that’s a discipline problem which comes from coaching! While Dan Quinn did a fantastic job with the defense, there is a reason for abysmal inconsistency with the QB, the O-Line and penalties! The Head Coach is at the forefront of it all and his team was not prepared to win a playoff game at home! The Jones’ need to reassess their process top to bottom because with the talent they supposedly have, it’s another year of total dissatisfaction!

Right at half of the penalties that were assessed against a particular position was on the defense. Quinn wasn't any better in that regard than the offense....
