Why pay 20M for a guy we don't use?

We should allocate all the money to Schultz and Wilson because those are the only guys on the field that the QB throws to.

What's the matter? Don't care about winning the NFCE next season?

Hey. The regular season still counts for something.

Right?

Collins is so re-structured that you have to wait another 2 years. Better moving him to LG and Steele to RT if we can't find a starter at LG through the draft. At least both have an offseason at their positions and helps with continuity. Then you work on center.

That's half the penalties gone just there.

Get a good running back if we even have to use our 2nd rounder to go with Zeke in his last 1 to 2 years with us. Kennetth Walker III supposed to be there. He's got talent and can carry the running game should Zeke get hurt. Probably the best back in the draft too.

Now we should have solved the running game too which is what hides the holes this team hides on both sides of the ball.

Mitchell last night was a 6th round pick. No need to go that high. Just need to get a few.

I can see it. Cut Cooper to save cap space, Gallup is too pricey for them so they use ANOTHER first round pick on a WR to pair with Lamb.
Another user posted potential draft targets in the range of our 24th pick, there looks to be some viable OL. I can't pass up OL this year.

Cost the Boys a 1st and plenty of money just to give Dak who was failing another weapon . Years later we need to move him because Dak has still failed and has been rewarded with a ridiculous salary.

Great stuff.

According to over the cap, if you designate Collins a June 1st cut you save $10 million next year with a $5.25 million dead cap hit (he has a $15.25 million cap number).

Not saying you necessarily should do, just that you do not have to wait two years.

That said, cutting Cooper pre-June 1st, and Collins with a June 1st designation gets you under the cap and gives you $13 million to attempt to sign/resign whom you want to without touching anyone else.

See some comments on how the team doesn't want to use him. Wanting to use, and being able to use
are completely different things.

But Dak built a football field in his backyard and was throwing to Cooper all summer long and then they would go drink lemonade on the porch…

His actual go to guy on his field is Ced. Makes sense as they seem have the best connections
