Sure, but if they cut Coop, I would try to sign Dede Westbrook or bring Amendola in for a cup of coffee too. Maybe Fehoko is ready to be a threat. The WR Depth chart is still decent if they keep Wilson.
1. Gallup
2. Lamb
3. Wilson
4. Westbrook or Amendola
5. Fehoko, I really think Fehoko could develop into a red zone threat with his size and athleticism, he has the speed to be a deep threat too. If he adds bulk he might morph into a Waller clone as a receiving TE.

He's got trade value.

What exactly it is I don't know. But there's some.

Washington tried to sign him for more than we did.
His contract is actually team friendly now too as long as he goes back to 80-1000. With little guarantee left, he will be willing to renegotiate, which would probably bring his average cap hits to 16M or so. If your trading him, the cavet is trading him to a team he will renegotiate with

There is something going on between KM and Cooper. All the little passive/aggressive hints Cooper has been dropping about the offense past few years, I have a feeling they don't agree on things. We don't feature Cooper like other #1 WR on other teams.
I remember there were games where Aikman would throw three slants in a row to Irvin just to get him going. I remember Norv saying he does this intentionally early in the game to set the defense up to helps other receivers get open.

"We throw to the open guy" mantra sound good on paper but it's not always the right strategy because not all the guys can beat their man quickly and consistently as your #1 WR.
Some games you need to make sure your #1WR is the main read on a play. This is one example of where KM's lack of experience is killing the offense.

This offense is terrible whenever Cooper is out. As much as the savings are there, we need him back. We already have so many holes, why create another.
"We" already "created"....THIS "hole".

He already voiced his displeasure. He knows our QB won't make him a true #1....even IF he plays hard and shows up.

Him going to the basketball games tells you all you need to know about it. Gone.

None of those things are connected. He was part of the best offense in the league so it could not have been that bad for him. He's unvaccinated and went to the game, that says more about him than it does his displeasure with Dak.

Gallup is gonna have to learn to go in the middle and take some shots. Can't feature sideline fade and expect to be #1WR.

Mitchell last night was a 6th round pick. No need to go that high. Just need to get a few.

I understand your sentiment. But:

Derrick Henry
Jonathan Taylor
Nick Chubb
Joe Mixon

All 2nd rounders. Around our 2nd round pick too. Might get 1 near the 3rd round where we should have some compensatory picks.

We need to right the run game, penalties and blocking on the o-line with no hesitation. Then we're going to need some LBer's and a TE who can block and catch consistently, Shultz or no Shults.

Good luck with that. Getting rid of your best receiver will surely fix your struggling offense. Cedee Lamb definitely showed he’s ready to be a #1. Oh wait…

If he believed in Dak as a leader...it is good GD well "connected".

"part of" the offense that never really featured him like other teams "feature" their #1 is all VERY GD CONNECTED!

"they don't give me the ball enough"...somehow...is NOT connected? You are nuts, ya ice chucker.

I like Gallup but I don’t like Gallup not playing for the majority of the season…..that’s a waste like Jaylon

Move on, it’s a no brainer and the smart move. But I bet they won’t do it because Cooper gets a lot of separation and you know who doesn’t like to throw in to tight windows.

It would create 16M in space per overthgcap. That can help you bring back 2-3 guys that you want moving forward. I would move on from Amari
Or we can use that money to give Dak a raise. Dak and Tad feel "disrespected" at only 40 million a year. We got to keep Dak happy or he won't beat the daylights out of 3rd stringers.

Since when does your "best receiver" say ship like this?:

“I think I can do more in the red zone if I get some targets. I can do more on third down if I get the targets. To help the offense be what we need to be, I think I can definitely help change that.”

Your number 1 "best receiver" shouldn't need to express that sentiment. He is NOT HAPPY HERE.
