Everyone hating on Dak? What's your plan "B"?

I put the blame on Jerry Jones. He's the owner/GM who put the staff together, who coaches the players and writes the schemes. We're 11-0 this year with 100 yards or more. With those odds, wouldn't you think more emphasis on the running game be made? The O line and RB positions were the worst on the team. That was clearly obvious vs. playoff caliber teams. Not only is the talent par, but they're playing injured and are breaking records in penalties. Dak isn't John Elway, but non of what I just mentioned were his fault.

This was not a total team loss. JMO.

The OL was so bad it was like trying to run into a brick wall during many games this season. Our pass protection started breaking down later in the season. We tried making it work with Connor Williams and it hasn’t. McGovern hasn’t been any better. Tyron isn’t what he was and isn’t dependable to play every week. Collins had a bad year and we may move on from him. We may not have the cap space to fix the OL in one season.

Zeke is over payed for what he does. His contract is squeezing us and the Cowboys are stuck with it until after next season. Our DL/pass rush isn’t strong enough. With all the players we’re going to moving on from having 22 unrestricted free agents, the Cowboys may not see the playoffs again for a while unless they can make do with what they have and get better coaching. The talent will likely not be as good next year.

Elliot or Pollard for that matter shouldn't have even been on the field with tears. Why didn't they get help?

Pollard provides burst and quickness but they didn’t utilize him much yesterday. They continue trying to hammer Zeke who looks like he’s running in sand. I know he hasn’t been healthy but he looks slow! No wiggle or anything. The Cowboys are regretting his contract.

Nope, but I can tell you're soft and been bullied. With that said, Dak and the rest of the team is being heavily criticized for poor play yet again in a big game. The criticism to the whole team is justified, including Dak.

But its great that you have a psychologist friend. You should share those feelings of being bullied with him or her, im sure they can help you get through your tough time. Speedy recovery lil guy!!

The tension between you two is palpable. Just kiss and get it over with guys.

Well believe me or not I did think Herbert would be good and I did want him. How much would it have taken? I don't know. And no his team isn't loaded. They have a terrible defense with the worst run defense in the league. He is a much better QB the Prescott. This would have been my plan B. Not saying it would have worked, but any of those scenarios are better then the average QB making 40 million a year.
like I said, you wanted him. 10 others wanted somebody else and so and so forth and everyone and their crystal ball comes and says I told you so.... How many other QBs did you want and it didn't work out? but the one that does....

my point is taking QBs in the draft is a gamble, not a sure thing. 80% of the first rounders fail. because teams tend to reach for QBs.....despite the salaries, its the easiest path to superbowl and the cheapest path.

and our mistake was we should have given him a contract and extended him in 2018 when we could have....but because of 2M per year we didn't.....even in 2019 we could have and didn't.....over a couple of million per year....30M would be much more palatable than 40M..

with that said. there is nothing we can do right now....cutting him would have a cap hit of 78M in 2022 and 44M next year. its almost impossible to cut him for next two years. 2024 is the earliest.....

So Sad and Selfish . . . His true Character

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Dak passing the record. What's wrong is to claim he suffers from a calf injury when clearly that's not the case. What would be even worse is IF he has a calf injury and played the late season games just for stats and records (wouldn't be a surprise).
I personally don't think he has a calf injury, he is fine and he is what he is.

Congrats to Dak Prescott for holding the Team record of most TD in a single season and congrats to the 49's for moving to the next round of playoffs.
