So Dak is not near the "grown *** man" and exceptional leader he is made out to be?

That is what you are saying if you go with this narrative.

Speaking of all those other QB's..... there should be plenty of clips of those guys blaming the refs and encouraging violence after a loss. Line them up and shut me up.
oh Jeez

if your goal is to only bash Dak, then by all means do so...I told you that much. if you think Dak is the only thing that ails this team then you must be a new fan, perhaps the last 4 or 5 years. I suggest go study the history of cowboys and ask some of the older fans about past 26 years.

this is not about Dak and only Dak...its about 26 years same freaking results. same excuses. different years. one constant. Jerry Jones.

Dak should have never felt as a grown man to say such a stupid thing. I said that before....you want to absolve Jerry from what he has created? please do......but why did he think he can say that? freaking culture of this team that allows players to point fingers, find excuses and blame everybody else for their lack of production and play.

Serious suggestion here. Maybe you should take today off and let your emotions simmer down a bit.

This is taking EBD to an unprecedented level, which is impressive in itself.

Like I already said, twice.... Nobody is responsible for what comes out of a person's mouth but that person.

I never said any of that other stuff you are scrambling to use in your, and Dak's defense.

For the record. I go back to the 'Next Year's Champions" days.

Oh yea, almost forgot.... When are you providing all the other examples of past QB's saying terrible things? They didn't play under the same culture that you are using to deflect responsibility from Dak? Why didn't all those guys "think they could say that"?

perhaps you are the one who is a bit upset...you are hung up on what Dak said. you have dug in. put your hands over your ears, going la lalalalla loudly...

I didn't say Dak wasn't responsible for saying what he said. I said, why did he feel he can say that. or even think that. its the culture that allows him to speak as he did. if in the past there were reprecussions for acting selfish and stupid, then he wouldn't even think twice that it would be OK to say what he did. in Jerryworld, the inmates run the assylum and do and say what ever they feel without any consequences...

and Dez had a tantrum on the sideline, attacked and yelled at coaches and the owner supported him. he wasn't the last one, there were others. its been the culture of the cowboys for 25+ years now.....players do things without consequence.

but go ahead, go forward with your Dak bashing if that's going to make you feel better. blame Dak for everything.......

and what's the end result? where are we? where are we going to go? how is this fixed?

I don’t really care about Dak’s comments. It was right after a disappointing playoff loss. It was said out of anger and disappointment about how he and the entire team played. People say the wrong thing in the heat of the moment all the time. I guarantee everyone on this board has said worse before. They just weren’t on TV.

Who gives a **** dude. Dak is trash, Romo was trash, Bledsoe was trash, and the other 20 or so QBs that played for us were all trash. They're trash because they didn't help us win crap that's why they're trash. IDGAF about any QB that isn't helping us win titles, I don't care about any excuse. So the OP made an excellent point and that point is Jerry Jones is ultimately responsible for FAILURE in the Cowboys organization.

We can talk about this player, that player, this coach, that coach, but Jerry is in charge of all of this mess. EVERY BIT OF IT!!!! He and Stephen and the Jones Klan.

I will expand on your post even though I am totally unrealistic. Someone within the organization or in the Jones' inner circle needs to have the guts, balls, cojones, or intestinal fortitude to step up to the plate. That someone needs to articulate that a Football knowledgeable General Manager is seriously needed for this organization to succeed, and stand up to the Jones' family that their current plan suck.

I know that will never happen.

It won't happen and that's why we will continue to fight amongst each other about this player, that player, meanwhile Jerry Jones is sitting on his yacht laughing at all of us idiots.

You can all Hate on Dak. You can all Hate on Mike. You can all hate on Moore. but this is the product the GM put together. this is the culture he created when the QB, the franchise QB, the face of the team calls out the refs and says its OK for the fans to pelt the referees. the excuse culture as some called it. that made me angry more than anything else.

its been 26+ years of frustration. every few years, a play off apperance and then disappearance. one win once in a while and then we lay an egg.

this franchise is soft. the GM/owner makes excuses and everyone around him picks up on it and does the same. the GM/owner points fingers at everyone but himself and everyone picks up on it.

This organization lacks discipline at the top and it just flows to everyone on the team. 14 penalties. that's embarassing from a playoff team. no team should succeed if they committ 14 penalties. and we didn't. 5 of them pre-snap....FIVE....that's on the players. I can be ok with one. maybe two..but FIVE and all the same dang idiotic mistakes....and I am OK with some game penalties. sometimes you are not good and you make mistake. but some of the penalties are fundamental stupid mistakes.

Jerry said he was disappointed yesterday. its all and act to show the fans that he gets us. its all about the money. putting out rumors that change is coming. I will get rid of those who anger you. Jerry you should be disappointed in yourself, because this is the house you built...(including the east/west aligned stadium that causes sun glare).

so until Jerry retires or leaves....this is the best it gets. Dak's will come and go as QBs did before him. Coopers and CDs will come and go as Dez and others did before them. we will find the next player to get mad at and target and hate. we will find the next coach to blame....but results will not change. the sooner we accept that, the easier it will be.
Jerry Jones and his family went on a family vacation during the first week of free agency 2 years ago. That right there shows you how little he cares about football or the fans of his team.

I literally said, "Jerry is certainly worthy of some serious criticism but blaming him for what comes out of the mouth of another man is delusional."

Come on man. Is Dak a "grown *** man" or not? Is Dak the "leader" he is given credit for being? If he is willing to approve of the scumbag actions of the fans who were chucking things at the officials.... well that seems to be the final nail in the coffin of Dak's legendary leadership.

Men take responsibility for themselves. Leaders take responsibility for themselves and those they lead.

Not surprising that you don't seem to understand that.

he is not worthy of some criticism. he is to blame for a lot of what's wrong with this team and this culture....in companies I worked in the past, we wouldn't dare to talk certain way and say certain things because there would be consequence to what I said and did. when there is no consequence. when there is no fear of that. then I can act as an idiot and say what I want....I know they are all adults....no one is saying they are kids. they are highly paid professionals and my expectations are they act like professionals....but when my boss doesn't give a craap....then why should I..... I have no fear. nothing will happen to me... that's the culture Jones has put together and that's the culture everyone follows and acts in..Dez did it too before Dak.... Cooper did it..... and a long line of others before them.

Jerry makes excuses. he makes excuses for himself. he makes excuses for his player. he allows the players to bypass the lines of authority and come to him. he tells his coach, the OC reports to him and tells the media as much. all his players have learned it and act like their boss...grown men or not.

again, you want to blame Dak. please do. your choice. blame him for everything that ails cowboys....but how do you explain the 20 years before Dak when the same crap as this happened. perhaps it was the ghosts of future Dak!!!!

What Jerry will never work his way out of is top level accountability for the top 2 positions in the organization without any delegation. That circumvents delegating and authority principals accumulated...and he's lost his own perspective there. But accountbility isn't shielded as he is doubly responsible now.

Totally on point. Jerry will never hire a strong personality coach who can motivate and project his personality on the team bc he is afraid in case of a miraculous successful season, Jerry won’t get the credit. Players don’t respect the HC bc they all know at the end on the day “who’s the real boss”
