The point of Sturm's tweet is when your OL is getting manhandled, you go to a shorter passing game. Speeding up decision making makes no difference if the play design has the primary read as the WR running a 20 plus yard route and the QB has to hold the ball.

Where does Sturm get the 3 seconds from and why is that a problem anyways, even if true, considering the average QB release time is under 3 seconds? 3 seconds and above is not even normal..

When the hell is the last time his "running game" bailed him out lol? Surely wasn't Zeke because I was told on here that Zeke sucked.......

And we already know "big games" is subjective. If he loses it was a big game...if he wins he was suppose to win...because there is no way anyone can blame him for losing to the Buccaneers opening night....
I get the point you’re making and I mostly agree. Dak is capable of performing in big games. He’s done it a few times in the past. He played great against some very solid teams this season, and he’s been pretty good in a couple playoff games prior to this season.

But what’s most concerning to most of us is how insanely inconsistent he is. He seems to be at the mercy of his own confidence level. If he’s confident, he’ll let it rip and the game flows easily. If he’s rattled or hesitant, it’s very very very ugly.

Get a couple pressures on him early, and he’ll start feeling phantom rushes all game. Disguise your coverages early, and he’ll second guess what he’s seeing the rest of the game. He doesn’t seem to process and quickly overcome challenges, and for a QB that’s a death sentence.

I would like to know what the hell is considered open??
PFF will never tell you...its like the Diggs crap. They credit some of those yards to Diggs just because he's the closest guy to the play...now people have common sense to take PFF with a grain of salt when it comes to Diggs but when it says something they like then PFF is bible lol.

Damn bro you're really going to go down with the ship on Dak.
Ok so which one of those OC's is Kellen Moore better then? What am I missing? Because if you are arguing that Matt Stafford who just won his first playoff game of his year is that much better than Dak? I just have to disagree.

Sturm is just making excuses for Dak. Kellen does have hot reads and quicker options built into the system, but a rattled Dak is incapable of finding them or trusting his eyes when he sees them.

Wonder why?
they didn't shoot themselves in the foot. they didn't committ 14 penalties....6 pre-snap...which are highly avoidable. they didn't make a 3rd and 4 into a 3rd and 9 and 3rd and 14 that would telegraph to the other team we are going to pass the ball. they used the right players to make plays, ala Pollard getting only 4 touches. they made more accurate passes. they caught the ball when it hit them in the hand. they stopped the run and not allow the other team to run for 170 yards. they didn't try two punt formations in a row, with one being a fake punt that worked. they didn't run a QB draw play being down by 6, with 14 seconds to go and no timeouts. they didn't play scared. they didn't play not to lose as opposed to playing to win

It’s so depressing. I’ve never seen a more bipolar QB. I honestly haven’t. And at this point, I have zero faith that he can string together 3-4 straight good/great games and win a championship.

Totally agree.
Your lack of faith is justified imo.
To envision this QB leading this team on a 3 to 4 win run against playoff level QBs, defenses and coaching staffs would be nothing short of a miracle.

Did you even read his tweet? The average for other teams doesn't mean it's same for us. He said other teams has gone to the shorter game with success but we haven't.

This issue has been around since JG days with Romo. I don't know how many times I've seen Romo get killed waiting for a long developing play while the OL is getting manhandled.

Who are supposed to believe as far as the actual take is concerned?

Stat guy Sturm who is in love with Dak and thinks he’s better than Romo, but started leveraging the Garrett excuse for his mediocre QB as he kept ‘slumping’ or Kurt Warner breaking down actual video confirming that WRs are open?

Dak defaults to Zeke instead of going through his reads all the time. He rushes through them, because he’s scared to make the throw. It’s on the tape and Warner demonstrated this clearly.

Dak releases the ball under 3 seconds. He’s been tagged at around 2.6 this year as an average.

Aye man I can't explain it. This was a bizarre year man....they rarely attacked teams deep.....can he no longer throw the deep ball? Do they not want to? Man I can't call it. I'm not defending his play. I'm just not of the belief he sucks. I just dont' know what's going on. I expected him to get better as the season went on due to missing so much time...he did the opposite somehow.
Dak literally told you what the problem was after the Broncos game.

He said "I hope all teams do what Denver was doing" implying that they were doing certain things differently than other teams and it was throwing him off.

Now, he implied that he knew what it was and he could fix it, hence his arrogant quote. However, as the season progressed it became apparent that Dak had no idea what to do and his football IQ is so low that he could not adjust.

Dak told you. You just would rather play dumb about it than accepting it.

Stafford is better than Dak. I would take him in a heartbeat over Dak. 30 years from now, Detriot will still be losing. Nobody can win there. It's not a coincidence that he got his first playoff dub as soon as he left against....the same team that Dak, just a few weeks ago, looked like a deer in the headlights against.

The OP is about receivers being open. How is that an indictment on Kellen? We have access to the ALL-22 now and how Dak is not seeing the field.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Todd France and his lackeys haven’t and aren’t calling Sturm to get him to play damage control for their client to protect his ‘brand image’ at the expense of guys like Moore. We are on a new era of marketing and have been the last 10 years or so.
