Cut or trade Tyron Smith La’el let FA walk and get 3rd round comp picks

Dallas will be able to get around two- three third round comp picks for letting, Gregory, Schultz, Neal, Williams, and other FA lost in the off-season.

Use those picks to get a legit OL whether its the top rated, guard, center or DT. Move Steele to LT or RT depending on which side has the whole from trade or cut.


My main FA to re-sing is Kearse and use the remaining draft picks to pick up Speedy sub 4.3 WR, LB and a true NT.

You won't get those comp picks until 2023.

You get an end of the 3rd round pick when a player signs a contract similar to one Byron Jones did, and none of those guys are getting anything near that.

Even when you get it, you let your new coordinator pick who he wants then leaves after a year.

And we wonder why this ends up nowhere.

The cap for this next season already can completely be manageable depending on the changes for a young team are determined. The roster is going to change, right now.

Smith and Collins aren't just 'old' guys or fans are getting tired and using them as personal whipping boys. That isn't going to happen.

Oline needs to be complete revamped. Keep Martin and everyone else need to be replaced eventually. Cant do it all at once.

They might have gotten a 3rd for Gallup before the injury… now it might be possible to resign him to a 1 yr contract depending on how much he wants to stay (or leave)!

Even that's a reach.

Remember they are also offset by anyone you sign.

They will end up with a couple of 5ths if they are lucky, more likely something like 3 6ths.

People get caught up in this comp pick nonsense.

i have 0 interest in moving off of tyron smith or la'el collins.
i am moving off connor williams and finding his replacement.
im not looking to create more holes to fill.

Good thing you're not running this team, you'd probably give one of the most overrated QBs in this league a bonus for that great QB boot leg at the end of the 9er game.................
