It had a possibility to work, but what happened is what you get for trying to play for 1 second.
That asshat ref was screwing us all day......the days of a referee being unbiased....is long gone. Wouldn't shock me to find out that clown had money riding on the game.
Good point.Did Jax warn the refs ahead of the play they were going to do that? In order to get them to hustle?
The ref was in concessions getting snacks.
Lol. Someone Tweeted earlier that "they should inform the refs of the play they're attempting."……..this ref didn’t realize the urgency of the situation….maybe these guys should be administered the Wonderlic test too.
The officiating, all season has been pretty inconsistent throughout the league. This isn't a matter of blaming the refs, but we should be able to talk about it and not have it be called whining for whatever reason. So how long are we going to embarrass ourselves whining about the refs?
We lost that game. Not the officials.

Yeah, you're not understanding me. The officiating is a problem league-wide. And it's not just that one call. There is no conspiracy against Dallas specifically and I never blamed a loss on the refs. But to brush it off as whining when there are clearly obvious missed/bad calls is just ignorant. It does change the game. It doesn't mean it cost anyone a game, but you can't say it hasn't.Because that's what it is, whining. Think of it this way, if we got a gift call to beat the 49ers, would we be spending days and multiple threads analyzing the call? Would fans here be talking about ref bias or favoritism? Of course not.
Some people seem to forget, even if they do everything exactly right, we still are trying to score from the 24 yard line, which has a minute chance of succeeding. Yet people are acting like the ref not marking the ball fast enough cost us the game.
We lost because we played stupidly and coached stupidly. We lost because the other team was better prepared, had a better game plan, played smarter. I think some here go on and on about the officials because it makes them not have to deal with reality - our team sucked on Sunday and has problems.

Pretty sure he handed it to the center and the ref ran in and touched the ball...…..additionally, the ball carrier jumps up and runs to hand it directly to the ref….not the center……of course Dak would have had to run the ball back up field 10 yards to hand it to the ,out of position ref ,to duplicate this
And there are fans who are pointing out what I'm talking about. I said the biased talk isn't happening? It's important that we can discuss the issue, that's my point. Blanket statements seem pompous to me. There's legitimate concern across the league.I am understanding you just fine. But there are literally people in this thread doing what you say isn't happening - the refs were biased, etc.
Still defending the moron HC, OC and QB. $300 million between them all and not one of them had any common sense to tell the ref they were going to do that to make sure he was ready. U think NE woudn't? if you don't you are a complete fool
Argue all you want about whether it was a dumb play call or not, but the referee Sunday unquestionably screwed the Cowboys in that scenario.
