We'll get some answers one way or another, but the only way to get those answers is by Moore going somewhere else.

I think that Dak will always be Dak regardless of the OC, because he wasn't good before Moore took over, but when Moore took over Dak had his best seasons stats wise.

So, Moore leaving will answer more questions about his ability as coach than it does Daks abilities as a QB, imo.

It would not surprise me if Moore doesn't go anywhere. That flop of having your offense do almost nothing during a playoff game may leave a bit of a bile taste in owners mouths. If Brown had not intercepted that awful throw from Jimmy G, we probably would have lost by two touchdowns. It flat doesn't look good on your resume when your offense poops on itself during a home playoff game.

Basically he said it seems like "Kellen's" playbook looks like a collection of plays...and that they really don't run multiple plays off of one set......and I would agree. Too many people have input in the offense.... and it shows.

I've come to the conclusion....either the Cowboys trust Kellen Moore with his offense going forward....or they don't. But this....offense by committee crap....has got to stop. And who knows....maybe some of you crybabies just might get your wish...Kellen can take his #1 offense with him....wherever he goes.....and we will see how Dak fairs without him....and then you can enjoy the Doug Nussmeier /McCarthy offense. Have fun with that....
So the offense is #1 because it's Kellen's but it's doomed to failure beause it's by committee?

It's the Kellen Moore apologist script, only with more ellipses.

I believe people that have jobs in football can see that Dak isn't a very good QB. None of those people have Jerry Jones ear unfortunately, so we're stuck.

So, I believe Kellen will be given the benefit of the doubt because Dak's just not that good and he did what he could with what he had to work with.

I agree it doesn't look good though.

He can take his not wanting to run a## the hell out of town imo...because you are not going to get to a superbowl with Prescott if you ain't running the football...and running it heavy. Once the organization accepts this and quits trying to gaslight the fan base into believing that Prescott is the second coming of Tom Brady...they might just understand what has to happen to reach ultimate success.

So what was your take away? I didn't watch all the way to the end so maybe the last few minutes he completely switched what he was saying. He literally said they do most things out of same formations, similar looks. Gave an example of Fred Warner getting tips on plays where the back swung out to the front side and slid his coverage every time. Basically said the Cowboys didn't have a complement off of that play, and thats been a theme for this team. Also said that Kellen has done a great job of getting receivers wide open by design. To me that means great pass game coordinator, still learning on the job as an OC. I heard him talk the pros & cons of Dak, followed by the Troys comments on Irvin and 1 on 1 coverage, but i'm not sure im wrong....I'm open for the feedback if im missing the mark though.
We had a former head-coach that was "learning on the job". Moore was promoted too soon and his inexperience, coupled with Prescott's issues are going to cost more going forward than the costs to date. His attitude toward running the football is the biggest reason why I hope he gets another job. His attitude about not focusing on any one player is also a problem.
