Ok so what are you arguing? I said 2007 and 2014 were the best rosters we've had and you tell me our 2021 roster was just average.....so what's the issue lol? We agree....

This means, this team wasn't much.

Well, then old man, you better get to thinking. We have a full agenda that needs to be addressed this offseason and we need to get to it with the coaches in place. You have until these interviews of the coaches are completed and the smoke clears from that to gather your thoughts and act on what you've concluded. That will be about a month away. Will McClay is already working on the draft board. We need direction but we won't have it as long as your thoughts have this coaching staff in a state of flux.

So wait its Dak's fault that his idiot linemen were holding? And what about Randy Gregory lining up wrong TWICE, or the block in the back's or the false starts.....what could Dak have done about those?
If you are on a 3 step drop and you don't throw it and then run around for 2-3 seconds, yes, that is on the qb.

Oh in recent memory? 2019 for sure.

2019 was SB or BUST. Not only did they not win a SB they didn't even get to the freakin' playoffs and went 8-8 of all things. It was the last year of Dak on his rookie deal. The last year to take advantage of it....JG's job was on the line. They made trades for Robert Quinn and Michael Bennett...signed Randall Cobb. Oh for sure i'd say 2019. I have no doubt in my mind 2021 is probably embarrassing for Jerry but for me to believe this was the most bust season he's had I need to see heads roll and McCarthy is still here last I saw.
2019 was a year of hope but in no way was it a SB or bust year to the level of this season. Team was barely .500 at the halfway point.

I keep hearing about Payton, is he really a great I mean great coach?
I think I'd rather try my luck with Kellen.

You do realize hitting open receivers means reading the defense pre-snap...adjusting your reads post snap....and throwing with anticipation and/or throwing them open. So it is more than just being accurate when they're wide open...which he was not. Had he done this...even in spite of penalties and our struggles against the run...we would have scored 24 points.

At this point I have a pretty good idea of who Dak is. And he will always be limited against tougher opponents because he does not throw receivers open. This is also true of a lot of QBs. But stop acting like a more disciplined team and a team better against the run would make Dak someone he is not.

I don't know if your reading comprehension is lacking or what's going on but. you are the one who mentioned Dak. I never said he played well....I never said he didn't have his flaws....so your comment about me making Dak someone he is not is odd because I didn't make him out to be anything. I simply stated this team had issues with penalties and the defense couldn't get off the field. YOU brought up Dak not me. What issues you have with him is irrelevant. The defense sucked and has sucked. Dak sucked on Sunday but let's not pretend like he's sucked in the playoffs before. He has played well enough to win the games he's lost but the defense couldn't get off the field. And the same issues remain with this team and I HOPE this team isn't stupid enough to think they were a Dak playing well away from beating the 9ers because they weren't. I don't care how many points the 9ers scored the Cowboys couldn't stop Deebo or anyone for that matter.

He sounds seething on the phone, even five days later. Sounds absolutely furious.

And I love it.

He's also displacing blame I feel. I think he thinks he did his job this season and the coaches screwed the pooch.
The fan earlier this week stated that McCarthy was Stephen Jones pick. If that is true, he could be mad at him.

You don't trade for Robert Quinn and Michael Bennett because you had "hope" lol. Let's don't kid ourselves. It was the last year of Dak's rookie deal. It was similar to this year.....I don't care what their "record" was i'm saying before the 2019 season they had SB hopes....anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves. Its a reason why Garrett got fired. Jerry did not want to fire him.

Cowturd made a good point about the talent on the Cowboys. He says we really only have three great players. Parsons, Martin, and Diggs. So Jerrah the GM is not really doing his job well. Fans complain about signing Jaylon to his extension but the dumbest contracts was for Zeke and Dak. Zeke is not a top 30 running back and Dak is probably the 15th best quarterback. Jerrah gave them the largest contracts in NFL history.:omg::facepalm:
Cowherd said the cowboys are well ran and had playmakers everywhere

and now this? He flip flops so much depending on the tide. Screw him.

Exactly.

To say MM wasn't hired on a whim is ridiculous.

He was. Jerry was enamored with 'I won the Super Bowl' talk MM always goes to in crunch time.
Jerry was enamored of how many times McCarthy beat him up to that point. Fool .

Sounds like Jerry thought MM saying "We'll address penalties in the offseason" rubbed him the wrong way just like it did everybody else.

He should ask Quinn for first right of refusal. Make him the HC if he's going to can Fat Mike.

Tough, if my first choice would be Mike McDaniel.
I can almost guarantee this is the plan.

It is Jerry's MO.

Where did I blame penalties on why Dak couldn't get it done? Please show me lol. This should be fun. Once again getting into someone else's conversation/debate biting you in the *** about something you know nothing about. Typical....
You just said this.
You came away from that game and thought if Dak was able to hit open receivers the outcome would've been different? So if Dak hit the receivers we wouldn't have had 14 penalties? Or we would've been able to stop the run?:omg: You can't be serious.

You really are a piece of work. I do admire your persistence. You get batted around like a ball of yarn in a house full of cats on a daily basis but keep coming back for more.

I love how our fans fall right in line with Jerry blaming coaches each and every year.

These geniuses now want Sean Payton. The same guy they blamed while he was here and loved seeing leave.

We have no choice. Jerry's not going anywhere. He's not getting rid of himself. So our hope is that maybe he'll hit upon one of the 500 coaches he thinks could win a Super Bowl with this roster.

Shrug.

Wait so you think every single play Dak runs is a 3 step drop? But let's get back to my question....you are telling me Randy Gregory lining up wrong TWICE was on Dak?
