See ya, don't let the door hit you in the neck on your way out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Played somewhat better this year, but the Front Office made the right call and dodged a major bullet not picking up the option on his contract for next year.
So we basically have 3 options:
1. Let him go in free agency.
2. Offer him a contact long term.
3. Offer him a one year prove it type deal.
I am leaning towards option # 3.
Maybe one year at 3M with incentives?
Curious what other here think ?
Money will be tight with the cap, so that's a factor to consider as well.
Yea I’d do 1 year 3M or just let him walk
Like Gallup, LVE looking to get paid because he could get injured next season. If he signs a prove it deal, that is a big risk for him with a guy who have a history of being injured.
yikes, a little harsh ?See ya, don't let the door hit you in the neck on your way out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does anybody besides me think that he looked pretty good the other day. I thought he looked better than Ive seen him in a long time.Offer him a cheap deal.
if he takes it fine.
if he doesn’t. Draft a healthy LB that doesn’t have neck problems.
No, not really. He had "1" good year here and the rest were filled with disappointments. Unfortunately, for LVE he ended up "GUN SHY" after the neck injury and could never duplicate his outstanding 1st year wearing the STAR!!!!!!!!!!!yikes, a little harsh ?
