I’m 63….will we see another SB? As sad as it is, I think not but I still keep hoping for a miracle. At this point, that’s all we’ve got to hope for. Just my 2 cents.
Hope and memories is about all cowboy fans have now.
Sorry to see what this once great Franchise has come to...

Aren't you one of the guys with a self-proclaimed crusade?

I think you are one of them she is talking about.
I am....I admit it....I don't like fans that don't know a dang thing about the game and hate on players.....I don't mind fans hating on each other

Remember when you were going on off on the "haters" for hating on Jaylon Smith? You even predicted a pro bowl for him.

Those fans didn't know a dang thing about football, eh coach?

……oh no doubt. PeeWee football comes with a ton of pressure
Not the point....my daughter played softball in the 4th grade and parents would rip a coach that was volunteering his time......

Game can be matched both ways:

If Dak haters would stop posting it would be a good forum. He is not gonna get cut or traded. Get over it Dak haters. He is the Dallas Cowboys QB. Recognize that and the board will be a safer place.

Right seems like some just want this forum to be a bubble in which only those who agree with them and their takes should be able to post here. Dak isn't going anywhere soon and this isn't going to be a forum where only negative posts and opinions about Dak are allowed. So we might as well get use to the Dak debate for as long as he is QB if the Cowboys.

No one has said anything ugly to me, which I appreciate but I'm tired of reading posts where people are calling each other idiots, jock sniffers etc.

We're all upset, sad, depressed, angry and any other negative adjective you can imagine. It's taken me three long swim workouts to get my serotonin back up to a normal level and I'm still dejected as I face a weekend without a Cowboy game.

I'm a 63-year-old woman who can remember crying after the Ice Bowl game in 1967. I have had the privilege of enjoying all 5 Super Bowl rings but I never imagined I would find myself waiting more than a quarter century for another championship. I'm a committed baseball fan but I would surrender seeing one of my teams win the Series in my lifetime in favor of another Cowboy ring.

So let's rip into the coaches, the players, the ownership...By all means. But may I suggest that we be kind to one another?

I respect the intent of this post! I really do. In an ideal world, this would be achievable.

The problem lies in this: I think the reason that posts become personal and name calling ensues is that there is a strict divide in much of the member base on this site.

One side believes it’s sacrilege to criticize or speak negatively about a player, coach, or any other member of the Cowboys organization. On the other side, there are realists who feel it’s fair game to point out when a players or coaches or management member is underperforming. And on both sides, there are individuals that are extreme in their approach and want to impose their style of fandom on those that disagree with them.

Those differences lead to unhealthy debate, and sometimes lead to personal attacks and name calling. It’s a vicious cycle!

Ain't that the truth parents were brutal all those years I coached, there were always 3 or 4 that were just intolerable.

My parents were from Mexico and didn't understand football....they never saw me play, so I didn't see that side if it......but some parents and fans are vicious......it's part of it, but it's not right.

Great post and much respect. The fans that disagree with each other here really aren't the problem because we're "family" here. Family argue at times, that's cool.

Its the weak hating cowards here that make some topics suck because they only come around when we lose to talk **** about this player or that player. The cowards are no where to be found when those players have good games and we win. THAT'S the problem!!! Nobody respect cowards, but we do respect the people with a difference in opinion that post through wins AND losses and are man/woman enough to give credit where its due, when its warranted.

But the people who only come around to trash players when the team lose and silent all week after victories... they are weak cowards here and are most likely weak cowards in real life.

I do it for the torture. It's part of it. Revel in the good times and bad times. We haven't found the formula for anything other than regular season success and even that is overrated. Also, just some of the most ridiculous plays along the way in the past quarter century. A single play can be and is the difference. It's a remarkable game. The Cowboys have taught me that.

This is the circus. Nobody is wanting to go home.

This will all end one day with a hoisted Super Bowl trophy on a fire truck. I'm just not sure any of us will be around to see it.

I was a coach.....my wife and daughter had to hear people rip me and call me a piece crap......so, I don't agree...i rip into fans that don't know much, but, they rip on coaches GM, players and owners
I know a ton of coaches personally including one of my sons. I never heard any of them say they cared much about what the fans thought.
