Why is part of me thinking this is just setting up fans for bringing back McCarthy because he owes him 12 million?

Jerry will claim the decision was "rail tuff" but decided to stay with him.

The Kellen Moore decision was the problem IMO but Jerry had to hedge his bet.

McCarthy admitted he lied to get the job.

Why would he not also lie about wanting Moore?

This is the problem.....people telling Jerry what he wants to hear in exchange for a paycheck.

I was SHOCKED when Smith was cut. Who do you think did that? The guy that's on his way out of the building.

I really hope we end up with Quinn as HC and let him hire whoever he wants as OC (I bet it wouldn't be Moore)

This is what we need to hope for. It's best we are going to do around here for quite a while.

We have no choice. Jerry's not going anywhere. He's not getting rid of himself. So our hope is that maybe he'll hit upon one of the 500 coaches he thinks could win a Super Bowl with this roster.

Shrug.

So since you can't fix the problem pretend it isn't the problem. Noted.

Very Interesting.
Not the normal sunshine pumping Jerry.

But talk is talk, walk is walk and Jerry is just talking right now.

Cowturd made a good point about the talent on the Cowboys. He says we really only have three great players. Parsons, Martin, and Diggs. So Jerrah the GM is not really doing his job well. Fans complain about signing Jaylon to his extension but the dumbest contracts was for Zeke and Dak. Zeke is not a top 30 running back and Dak is probably the 15th best quarterback. Jerrah gave them the largest contracts in NFL history.:omg::facepalm:

I'm not bailing.

I'm taking the advice of

Very few people gave this team a chance at the SB as the season progressed in 2019. The media and fan reaction was nowhere near as extreme in 2019 as in 2021. Jerry's reaction wasn't as bad then as it appears to be now. You don't have to take my word for it. Go look for yourself.

You're doing what you always do. Taking things to an extreme to be contradictory.

Multiple things can be true Rocy. 2019 could have been disappointing AND 2021 could have been even more disappointing.

Now go get us some lunch.

Yeah I think you need something to get your sugar in tact because you aren't remembering 2019 very well.

Jerry won’t make a head coaching change unless someone is out there he’s really interested in or someone becomes available that he would rather have than McCarthy.

The whole "talent" thing is a excuse now because how many great players do the 49ers have? And how many actually played great because Kittle surely didn't.

Your reading comprehension fails you once again. You quoted NOTHING that has me saying penalties are why Dak struggled....man i'm telling you now you have one more goof up like this i'm adding you to the ban list until you get proper schooling. I blame DISD I don't blame you but still there's no excuse for this.
Classic Rocy.

Obfuscate, obfuscate, obfuscate.

Where's our lunch?

So, Jerry creates a Hollywood-like culture here where there is little-to-no accountability and then gets upset when the head coach can't (or won't) hold players accountable for things like stupid penalties?

Sounds like a monster of your own creation there Jerry. Well done. Bravo. How about you take a hard look in the mirror.

Did someone ask Montgomery Burns why the left an injured 5.2s 40yd rb as a feature piece?

There is your grounds to fire McCarthy and Moore if they said "yup", like the Black Knight, as long as there is one leg under him, that is key to victory"

However, my money is on a different directive

A damn holding on a run play.....unbelievable....that's somehow Dak's fault though.

Neville Gallimore hands to the face....Dak's fault.

Ahh here's one of Dak getting a delay of game because of the refs holding the ball. There's one we can blame on him....

Yeah I get it I can see how all of this is Dak's fault. Makes sense.

Don't care about past playoff games. The defense did not play great Sunday...but they played better than he did. And I firmly believe if he played a "B+" game instead of a "C-" game...we would have one. And asking him to playoff a "B+" game in the wild card round is not asking to much. Now, I would not ask him to beat Brady, Rodgers, or Mahomes...but amongst the terrible performances in that game...his is at the top of the list when you factor everything (position, salary cap allocation) in.
What relevance does the defense playing better than Dak have if we all think Dak stunk lol? It just makes no sense lol.

Fans just are completely lost on the issues with this team.

The team collectively.....Dak, Martin or whoever got PUNCHED IN THE MOUTH on Sunday. Its been getting punched in the mouth long before Sunday...It got punched in the mouth against Denver, against the Raiders....it got punched in the mouth a few years ago when Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson ran all over them...two guys currently out of the league....it got punched in the mouth in 2016....it got punched in the mouth in 2014...its been getting punched in the mouth for 28 years....and fans will sit here and still blame one player as if the issues aren't the same lol.

I guess I can't get too upset. It took me awhile to realize this teams issues and why they haven't won anything since before Dak was even born. This is the Jerry Jones special though....."Well if this would've happened we would've won....". The crap I heard in 2007....well the Cowboys lost but aye they lost to the champions....we are RIGHT THERE next season....its just a joke lol. But fans keep eating this up.

Well, we'll know soon enough. The best candidate to take over HC is his own DC who will likely have job offers as HC lined up next week.

I don't think anything happens. McCarthy will be back as HC.

I asked the question is Dak responsible for the team committing 14 penalties.....you bring up holding calls being his fault as if all 14 of the penalties were holding calls. Talk about "strawman" lol. The team is committing stupid penalites in the FOURTH QUARTER OF A WIN OR GO HOME GAME you can't see what the issue is......its just amazing.
