I think he'd be an ideal fit with what they like to do with Parsons. If you're going to use Parsons as a chess piece to move around near the line of scrimmage it would be nice to have that same sort of chess piece to use in zone drops and interior blitzes. Dean is fantastic at both. Two 3 down linebackers would be a dream, I just don't want to discount the return of Cox and what he can do. Similar styled players. It's a good LB draft and guys like Darrian Beavers/Cincinnati, Leo Chenal/Nebraska, and Chad Muma/Wyoming would all be good additions in later rounds.

Love it this could mean we could flip some players to dump salary and some future pucks to gain more early picks in the draft

I like Dean a lot except for his lack of size. We’re mediocre vs the run and his inability to take on blocks, stack and shed is a concern. If we take Dean over Lindenbaum it’s a massive massive reach because it’s obvious coming into the league that Lindenbaum will be rated higher amongst NFL centers then Dean will rated amongst NFL LB’s. That is, you can make the case easily that Lindenbaum is a top 10-15 center. You can’t say the same about Dean at LB. FYI Lindenbaum is graded 1-1.5 rounds higher than Frederick was.

I like Dean but I would take the player next over him in Linderbaum.

Exactly. Everyone should be able to name 5-10 other LB’s that they would like in this draft. It’s hard to name even one other center and that guy is in a different universe than Lindenbaum.

I like Dean. His athleticism would be an ideal fit with Quinn's defense.

But if Linderbaum is sitting there, I am taking him.

I like Dean, love Lindenbaum. I’m very intrigued with a Parsons/Chenal combo.

I think we could get Dean . And some how grab Green in the second if he falls or we can move up we would have a A+++ draft.

I just hope we don’t try to force Biadasz/Farniok to be the starter at C. We’ve tried the cheap scrub approach for years at S. I can’t name all the guys but Heath, Church, McCray, Woods, Watkins….blah blah blah

Lol at taking Dean when Linderbaum is on the board

absolutely idiotic move
Smart move..

Still don't get how some don't see OG is more of a need overall the C.

A great OG helps Smith.
A c doesn't help Smith.
We have a C. He is the guy get past that.

U move Collins for picks start Steele a RT.
Next year Draft Smith Replacement oline is almost done

Both (OC and OG) are needs but when you have 2 pressing needs and the best player is sitting there tgat addresses one the smart move is not to ignore both and take a shiny toy.

not sure people don’t see it

Having an elite center helps everyone the on the OL, O and entire team. Game is won and lost in the trenches and it starts with the center. I highly doubt we could get a 5 for Biadasz in a trade. Realistically a 6. Lindenbaum is graded much higher than Frederick was. This would be the biggest no brainer in the history of no Brainers.

FYI if Biadasz is even a decent center and it’s just Connor who is awful we could have run the ball behind Biadasz and Zack all day. Not sure if you noticed but we didn’t. The fact that some people think Biadasz has competition in Farniok tells you how awful Biadasz is.

I agree to an extent, but how you can think Dean is undersized and Linderbaum is not?

Well you don't see it.

Green can play both OT and OG at a very very High rate. He is a mauler and that's what you need to help Smith. You go get a C who is Williams at best at OG but maybe a Fredrick at guard debatable I've seen the Iowa guy rated much much lower on alot of sites. But again.
Green makes more since. There not gonna cut loose Tyron Smith since his contract is so good for the Cowboys. So he is a lock Martin is a Lock. COLLINS NEEDS TO BE TRADED AND STEELE SHOULD BE THE LOCK.
That leaves C and OG. Which postion hurt the run game the most? OG. Not C. Factor in all the Penalties and this will come to the front. Our LG either Conner where getting smacked around. No sacks on the C but the Conners UGH.

Like I said there gonna ride C one more year see what the two young guys can do.

Then you might see a change. But put that C spot in your wallet and wait alittle while.

Dallas has to fill holes not keep them there and say maybe next time.

I promise u this McClay will be looking at OG and OT. This year. LB. Why? They may move Parsons to DE. And DT that is a Monster in the middle. In the early rounds.

Again You lost it at the LG postion.
The LG has to be able to help both the LT and the C. CONNERS could do niether.

You could actually prolong Smiths Career with a good OG.
Prices for OGs in FA are way to high and its essentially easier on yhe cap to do so in the Draft.
Smith tried way to hard with the stunts and drops and couldn't do so well beside either Conner. Which inturn gives chances for Smith to be Injured may more.
Watch the last injury on Smith and look at the OG play. You can see where if we had a Martin on that side it wouldn't have been as bad or might not even happened.

But what do I now. You have a chance to have a guy who plays very well at both OG and OT.
Or a guy who plays at C and might be ok at OG?
I would choose the Green every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
