LBr is not my ideal choice in the 1st round but if we're going to go that route the more I watch these 2 guys I think Lloyd is a better fit.

Dean is a stud, but all of his best plays are in coverage and blitzing. I don't think he's the kind of guy that's going to be able to get off blocks and kill the run up the middle.

Lloyd seems to be bigger, stronger and have more length and from what I've watched so far he's been able to shed more and impact the run game better. I've seen a Fred Warner comparison which I think is spot on.

For a team that struggles against playoff caliber run teams I think Lloyd is a better fit.

Thoughts?

You can make the case Leo Chenal had same/better production vs better competition (compared to Lloyd).

But on tape he's half the athlete...

I'd bet you a million dollars Lloyd has the better SPARQ score by a mile.

Even talking about LB in rd 1 when there will be OL (Linderbaum or Green) and DL (Davis) starters sitting there for the taking is bad karma

I think Dean’s strength is actually blitzing despite his size. I see some stiffness to him changing direction which concerns me.

Ideally we’re able to find a LB that can play MLB and allow Micah to be featured more as a rusher/hybrid.

The biggest reason for that talk is Gregory gone. Parsons to DE. Meaning two LB holes need to be filled

Not happening…Parsons doesn’t have the bulk to play with his hand in the dirt for 17 games and it’d be a waste of utilizing his strengths.

Play him like you did this year…it was money.

Anxious to see what Dean actually measures out at and how he tests.

I’m actually ok drafting a WILL type as long as Micah mans the middle on base downs.

I’m hoping that BPA turns out to be an OL. And considering Jerry’s recent criticism of Cooper I think WR is also definitely in play.

Debateable he played better comp. If you go by SOS rankings at ESPN, Utah had like the 45th best schedule, UW had the 35th. Hardly a big gap.

Chenal is also not nearly the athlete Lloyd is.
