Not really. Many so called experts had us winning. Cynthia Frelund and her analytics had us winning a close one. And Lafleur is giving Coach speak. They prepped for the Cowboys as well you can bet.

Many of the experts I saw had San Francisco winning. So much for Frelund’s analytics.

Cowboys had us fooled, seems like the whole league and media thought otherwise; boy were we wrong! LOL

I said "fool's gold" in the last game of season thread...as did others. Some of us weren't fooled.

Those pyrites need to shake off...the pyrite.

We all saw the writing on the wall, very few were blind to the offensive decline. But we were all hopeful for the turnaround in the wildcard.

I'm not sure that's true since it wasn't an either or scenario. They weren't going to play the Cowboys either way. Had the Cowboys won and they said they were prepping for the Rams, that would be an insult to Arizona.
If they believed the 49ers were going to win then it's exactly the same thing as saying they thought the Cowboys were going to lose. They are not mutually exclusive events.

The 49ers victory required a Cowboys defeat. The only way they could have believed the 49ers were going to win was a comparison between them and their opponent, the Cowboys.

Except style points like that are why the Cowboys keep doing the same thing over and over again. Better to be properly shown to not be top tier so that the truth can shine through.
sadly though the truth will never shine through.
people have short memory's, by next TC time most will have forgotten this game and how bad cowboys played.
The games will start up , the stadium will fill up, everyone watching on tv , and the cycle repeats, hoping for better results.

The media is part of the problem, as they will go easy on cowboys mike and jerry, and will go on about how good they can be next year lol.

lol yeah, they are no longer the dallas cowboys, they are the "jerry jones circus boys" sometimes they put on a good show, sometimes they dont.
if another team has unheated benches, and it is sort of cold, jerry takes his own benches to keep his boys comfy !

But jerry is a good ring master of his circus, because the stadium aka jerry dome is always full.$$$$$$$$$$

And he is stacking up the money lol.

For those that watched breaking bad, you know the big stack of money he had that was like 6 million ??
jerry about 2 million of those stacks, and he wants millions more of those stacks  my math isnt that great
6 mil into 5 billion is how many stacks?

And of course the Cowboys just had to prove them right. This is going to continue until the Cowboys prove themselves in the playoffs.

Not shocking. I voted we would lose in the poll here. As a homer fan, I rarely ever vote we’re going to lose. Writing was on the wall for that game. Mojo was long gone by week 18.

Not sure what Kyle Shanahan’s coaching bio is supposed to prove here, but Mike Shanahan never coached under Bill Walsh, and is in no way a part of his tree.
I was just laying out some chronological relevance.
I never disagreed with you, there is absolutely no lineage ,, I was proving you correct.

we wouldn't have played them had we won...we'd be down in tom's place.
considering aaron rodgers is now 0-4 in nfc title game since mccarthy's super bowl...i'd be more worried about my own team.

Maybe I'm delusional, but I read this quote as more respect for the 49ers than disrespect for the Cowboys.

They'd be saying the same thing about the Rams if the Cowboys won (since that would have been their opponent).

I think the Packers would have said they the Cowboys would have won had the Cowboys won last week.
