After hearing Jerry’s criticism of Amari Cooper I would be surprised if he isn’t released or traded. We might not be looking at round1 but I could see one being in play in round 2.

Sure depending on what they do in FA, especially with Gallup and Wilson. If Cooper isnt here but Gallup and Wilson are back, I doubt they spend a 2nd round pick on a WR unless it's a clear BPA situation.

MG is good as gone so I’d be open to drafting one.

Not a big fan of this class though…if there’s an option in FA I’m keeping that door open too.

If we thought Jerry was frugal in FA I think this year he’s going to take it to another level. His money has not been well spent, and a lot of that is on him. He ain’t happy. He may do a bunch of 1 or 2 year deals and turn to the draft.

Zeke might be the worst contract in the NFL...it's absolutely terrible.

That being said, I wonder what a guy like ARob would cost in FA? Buy low type deal for a dude that proven to be a pro bowl caliber WR.

I think Jerry’s biggest problem is overpaying his own. Personally I would cut Cooper, and Jarwin and then restructure Dak and Martin. Forget about spending money on Gregory. Keep Kearse and then look outside the organization. I’m just not that hopeful that any real money will be spent.

What exactly did Jerry say about Cooper? I don’t know how anyone could look at the offense and not see it’s a Kellen Moore issue. Multiple OC’s in the league get their #1 guy over 100 catches. We can’t get Coop 80. How many touches did he and Lamb have vs the Niners? Wilson had more. That’s a problem. We don’t run the ball enough. Pollard doesn’t get enough touches. This is all a Moore issue.

I think Copper is a widely overrated player. And running the ball just to run the ball is useless. This team has issues on the OL. And I question the coaching of that group in particular.

Cooper is a monster…Kellen is the problem.

We have 2 #1 WRs and we’re the only team in the NFL that can’t manufacture heavy targets and touches for them.

Agree to disagree. I don’t see it, I see an extremely average guy. And the fact that he’s one of the highest paid players at his position is insane. I’m hoping Jerry tries to trade him or just releases him and saves the money to target an interior OL.

Having great receivers is not that big of a deal in the NFL anymore. You trade Cooper for draft picks, sign Gallup and Wilson to reasonable contracts. The Cowboys need to develop Feme from Stanford. It’s time for CeeDee to earn 88.
