I guess Cowboys loss isn’t so bad now?

Now that we apparently lost to a better team in playoffs.

Packers loss today should secure McCarthys job and shed some light on our season this year.

Turns out we were probably closer to 6th best team in NFC and over achieved with 3 seed. Good job!

The loss is still just as bad and just as embarassing. 26 teams have surpassed us in terms of advancing to the championship. It’s been how many years? 26? 27? More? I’ve lost count. Just cause the Packers sucked doesn’t mean we don’t suck. The fact that people are trying to connect the two are grasping at straws trying to make themselves feel better about the horrible state that is this team and it’s future.

So your lumping in the frustration of an era all in one season? Some of these players weren’t even born when we started suking over two decades ago,

No they did not lose to the better team. Dallas is better than 49ers. Given the weapons we had, we still should have beaten the 49ers no matter what. Garappolo eas nothing more than an average QB tonight but they still could advance thanks to their offensive line and creative running game.

We got to understand that. Our offensive line and running are the problem and this team goes nowhere as long as they are not solved.

Even if the pro bowl team lost against Jimmy G. and his gold diggers, it wouldn't change a thing or put our loss in a different perspective. If you want a championship you gotta beat the best and Dak choked on every chance. Others did too, but his embarrassing show of incompetence just stood out, since he's the QB n all.

You're (not you personally) really trying to find excuses for them, aren't ya? It's amazing.

There is always the on any given Sunday factor one has to consider ;) I mean all of the sudden A.rod went from elite to choker in some eyes and somewhere along the line lost his superbowl championship of proof... What a faker...

They had a better overall team. A team only 2 years removed from the Super Bowl.

History shows that great defenses can nullify great offenses and QB’s.

Our team was over hyped with mostly blow out wins over lesser teams.

It never was a bad loss but it allows those super negative ‘I told you so fans’ to show back up to the forum.

Heres a friendly reminder. The 49ers had -10 yards 24 minutes into the game. If that was the case against the Cowboys, we would’ve blown them completely out of the damn building. So once again its not ALL on Dak, even though everyone wants to put the blame solely on him, just like they did with Romo.

If we played the 9ers 10 times we’d win 8 out of 10 times, guaranteed. We’re a superior team but they won last week and it is what it is.

Why would we expect to beat better teams?

I was actually being sarcastic . But in a funny kind of way it’s actually close to the truth. We aren’t the better team. Just look at who we beat and lost to.

Of course it’s not all on Dak. He had plenty of help suking it up. None of our stars showed up.

No, it's still bad. We lost the game we should have won. You can spin it any way you'd like but it's still bad.
Maybe , but I think we can clearly say not as bad. Do you think we would have gone up to Green Bay and win?

nope. This team would’ve lost somewhere along the way. Looking at the roster, Dallas had the most potential with all their stars. But alas, this team showed that they were garbage as per usual.

I think SF and the boys pretty close with the overall difference being discipline which to me really means the players aren’t really committed to win and the coaches aren’t good enough to make it a priority.
For some reason we have fans really disrespecting a SF team which is only 2 years removed from a SuperBowl. And a QB who has more playoff wins than the Cowboys in the last 26 years.

Yeah after watching the games tonight we saw again and again that the QBs might have a bad day but good teams can make up for it. But still the QB needs to deliver when it matters. I couldn’t count how many times Burrow got sacked but he delivered at the end of the game, which Dak did not.

Because, according to the homers we had the best offense in the league and a top ten defense? And everytime you told them to see through those paper tiger wins vs Washington or the Eagles they just answered "12-5" or something in the likes? I mean the loss vs the Niners just showed one last time that this team was fraud through and through.

I couldn't see it in the first seven games also and even the loss vs Denver was mighty fine at the time since it was just the one pothole in our road to victory. The one reminder a great team needs of not losing focus . But ever since that Raiders game it was obvious what was going on. I guess the win vs a very bad Atlanta kept our hopes up for too long.

Stars in offense can always be shut down with great defenses. We’ve seen this time and time again. What’s it going to take to accept it?

We sawthe greatest QB of this era in NFC get shut down. By pressuring him. Defense rules in the playoffs . This is not fantasy football .

Not disrespecting them but they were lucky in both games. We dominated them in the second half but could not deliver, tonight they sucked almost all game until that blocked punt which was shocking for the Packers,
