We're a soft team. Everybody knows it. Everytime I go on someone else's forums, they all say we're a soft team, so it's no secret or anything. Soft teams don't usually win. We need hard hitters and physically intimidating guys on defense. We don't have many.
The strength of our team is the passing game, but history shows that a great defense always comes out on top over a heavy passing team. When Seahawks made the transition into a passing first team in 2015, they haven't gone to an NFC Championship game since, so that indicates that passing oriented teams usually play finesse ball which is what Dallas is.
And as you say, 49ers were in the Super Bowl 2 years ago so a lot of the same players and coaches that got them there are still there. They were down last year, but it was an injury plagued team and once they got healthy they reverted back to a top NFC team. I don't think they're as good as they were in 2019, but I think they legitimately have a chance to win the Super Bowl. They're 4-1 this year against the Rams, Cowboys, and Packers..... 3 of the top 4 teams in the NFC. They only team left they haven't proven they can beat yet is Tampa Bay, but that's only because they haven't played them yet
