The weather had a bigger affect on Green Bay more because they’re a passing team with Rodgers. San Francisco likes to grind it out on the ground and protect Jimmy G from making mistakes. A running team is always going to have an advantage in adverse weather conditions. Jimmy G didn’t have to throw a lot but he did make some plays when he had to.

Playing defense is harder than offense in inclement weather. And besides, it was the ST that was the difference in the game.

Friendly reminder that the 49ers had -10 yards 24 minutes into the game. If that was the case against the Cowboys, we would’ve blown them completely out of the damn building. So once again its not ALL on Dak, and Aaron Rodgers might be slightly better than Dak but it’s not some crazy distance between the 2. Rodgers has made a living and a name feasting off of the Bears, Lions, and Vikings. Other than that he’s a good QB but Dak has proven what he can do when the defense shows up like the Packers D showed up tonight.

If we played the 9ers 10 times we’d win 8 times, guaranteed.
Dak has been feasting a bad NFC east team. Dak isn't close to Rodgers. Only a Dak homer would say that. Dak hasn't proven anything except he can't go far in the playoffs.

I was in the 20% that voted that I am happy to have Dak here next year when that poll came up. :) He is a good quarterback, but this whole thing of calling arod a choker amuses me.

Rodgers is definitely not a choker but he hasn’t gotten it done in the playoffs in years. He has a losing playoff record the past 10 years.

This is called grasping at straws and this is what happens when your fandom is starved for a championship and just watched another team surpass your 26/27 year championship drought.

imagine your only personal team victory being happy that a “superior” team got sent to home to the couch due to the same team that beat you. So sad.

Not an achievement. Dak (and the offense) scoring more points than Rodgers doesn’t mean Dak, Zeke, the O-line, KM, and Mike McCarthy don’t suck. Quite the contrary. All you fans look and sound like Jerry. Getting excited at the stupid little things which is what’s kept this team at the bottom of the barrel for so long. Now Jerry’s going to think “maybe things aren’t so bad since the great packers lost to them” when in reality, things are way worse than we could ever imagine.

Rodgers did something that Dak will never do. Win a Superbowl or Win a MVP

Dak was having an MVP season until he injured his calf. I don’t think any QB can win a Super Bowl with the Cowboys. Their issues are a lot deeper than how Dak played the final half of the season.

SMH...The vagaries of perception and delusions of grandeur involving one Rayne Dakota Prescott. Like some soporific daytime soap opera out of 80s.

I disagree especially for a passing offense. A lot easier running the ball than throwing the ball in extremely cold weather. Many Cowboys players blamed the extreme cold for neutralizing their passing offense in the Ice Bowl. Bob Hayes was a nonfactor.

The calf was fine sir. Just stop with this nonsense.

22 for 70 yds before injury
26 for 76 yds after injury

The main problems for Dak are between his ears...in his eyes...and in his arm. His footwork is still bad...something that has dogged him since college.

You mean they are all going to Hell? ;) Or what is that supposed to mean. But Congradulation on your Dak Bowl all the same. You are validated because Dak surely would've won against the Packers.
Shocker only a Dak Hater would surmiss not reading scripture equates to damnation....:muttley:

It means TEAMS playing the BEST football win playoff games NOT some mythical QB childish duel.

Armstead, Bosa and Defense are playing best football..

Go sell the QB fantasy down the street

Dak led the offense to 16 points against San Francisco.

Rodgers was only able to put up 10.

Analyze that Dak haters!
Are you sure Dak was better??
Dak VS. 49ers : 23 comp. / 43 att. = 254yds.| 5.9 avg.| 1 - TD| 1 - INT | Pass rating = 69.3
Rodgers VS. 49ers : 20 comp. / 29 att. = 225yds.| 7.8 avg. | 0 - TD | 0 - INT | Pass rating = 91.9

By the numbers, Rodgers was better, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter.. 49ers QB with FAR WORSE numbers is heading to the NFC Championship game.

Weird Dak hater that was in the minority of 20% of voters on this board that would be happy to see him come back next year in the poll. ;) But only a Stan would see the Team that just beat you in the playoffs beat another team as validation on why Dak is better than Romo. and be happy about that until next season. Congrats ;) on your Dak Bowl. even though it was the San Francisco QB that won it for him ;)

I never said his calf wasn’t fine but none of us will ever know. I said he never returned the same after the injury. The main problems for Dak was his OL and the lack of running game. Stop knocking his intelligence! We’ve been watching him play for six years and intelligence isn’t an issue. The biggest problem is his accuracy. He misses too many throws.

What it indicates is a loser mentality.

GB’s line may have actually under performed ours last week. They were in rough shape. But I offer them no sympathy.

On tape it is clear that when teams morph between MOTF closed and MOTF open (pre and post snap) Prescott is having issues deciding where to go with the ball...sometimes letting go too soon to the check down...sometimes holding it too long (inviting sacks) for throws that are not there...and sometimes throwing into covered zones. Cover 4 and Cover 3 with four rushers has brought this kid down a few notches. The 49ers defense isn't particularly complex regarding the looks they give you...not like the Cardinals. Still...on tape Prescott is not in full command of his quarterback module. Kurt Warner is but one of a few people breaking down film on his play. He still has issues with anticipation and longer tight window throws.

That said...Kellen Moore is certainly NOT helping him be a better quarterback with his habitual premature abandonment of the running game. The Cowboys ran a 52 - 48% run - pass mix in Prescott's rookie year. In 2021 it was 42 - 58%. So we've morphed from a run-focused team to one featuring Prescott. A mistake in my opinion.

Dak was playing sub par teams early in the season. Yes there issues are deeper than Dak (Jerry Jones)
