It was a tough pill to swallow. There were a couple reasons Dallas seemed better than that though. Almost every NFC division was just as bad and we were really good at not just beating weaker teams, but lighting them up.
There a difference between winning a game you're supposed to, and dominating. I felt like beating the ever loving crap out of a skins team who had one four straight might carry some weight. It didn't.
At least your honest . And I agree to an extent . Beating up on bad teams can be impressive . and even playing great teams tough can be impressive .
But there’s been a fairly constant throughout. And that’s our offense often struggles against better defenses.
I’m on record stating early on not to buy into the hype after 6-1 start saying our schedule looked more like a 12-5 finish. It reminded me of the hype after our 3-0 start a couple years ago.
I said we had some key games remaining with playoff caliber that could better define our season. And I argued following those games there’s a reason we didn’t care as well. But this hype persisted on many fronts .
