Why can’t you cut Cooper and sign Green Bay WR Adams?

To the same 20 million a year? Adams is true #1. Stephen and jerry too dumb to do it. Need be aggressive not just sign your own mediocre players. That’s obviously worked past 25 years.

I don't know if it really matters do we bring in right now before we get rid of some of these losers who infect his team like cancer.

It matters more who we cut because this culture has to change asap.

Demarcus lawrence, Ezekiel elliott, and Cooper all need to go.

Because there’s dead cap money. You don’t just cut 1 20 million WR and go get another. You would cut coop and have around 11-13 million total to divide up to get 2 guys instead of just 1
I’d rather have Adams than Wilson/cooper. Then draft cheap wr in draft. If they wanted to make it work I’m
Sure possible. Jones are too lazy to make needed changes.

31 other teams would love to do this and make it that easy.

You don’t think Washington, Philly or any team would not want Adams?

The WR market was reset when Deandre Hopkins signed for 27m a year. Someone is going to offer Adams the second larger AAV, why would he take that much of a pay cut to go to Dallas?

Rayne Dakota Prescott. Plus with Cooper gone and Gallup rehabbing a torn ACL, he'd really only have the inconsistent Lamb to compete with here for touches.

Because most here think Dallas has infinite cap and that people don’t want to max out their contract.

They complain Dak signed for market value and then expect to turn around and trade for a guy like Wilson or Watson and pay him like he’s on a rookie deal

......and it would imply that Green Bay isn't a smart franchise too.
They are $50 million over the cap next season

Adams and Valdes-Scantling are both free agents to top it off

Adams is getting tagged. The Packers would be stupid not to keep him and Rodgers. Plus do you really think KM would scheme Adams open when teams double team him.

They are over $50 million over the cap right now. It’s like the Saints last season. It’s doable. But there will be casualties

.....but WRs aren't the glaring or immediate issues for the 'Boys.

Really? All I hear from the media and Cowboys fans is that the Cowboys are in cap hell and gave Dak to much money.

I mean after they lose Wilson and Gallop to FA and cut Cooper it likely will be a need. The problem with the plan of cutting Cooper and signing Adams (which is doable) is that it means that all the reworks and cuts you have to do to get under the cap now leave you with multiple other positions completely reliant on either practice squad players or low round rookies somehow being competent starters which seems unlikely. Right now the team is not really in a position to sign a big free agent, they instead need to be able to sign multiple average starters instead.

It doesn't swing the pendulum like building the trenches and being willing to rotate RBs would.

Dak needs that play action threat
