I guess Cowboys loss isn’t so bad now?

There’s that Jerry spin. Year after year, he thrives on fans just like you. This is why the team has zero accountability. Why get better when good or decent is good enough?
He doesn’t rely on fans like me anymore. At least not financially. But yes .

no no no lol
the loss is still bad even if SF goes all the way.
Dallas has the talent, what they lack is good coaches , and the right mental frame of mind, and to be a real team, not a bunch of divas wanting self
glorification. Desire to win.

So MM still needs to go, he is pathetic, so is kellen.
Then you’ve bought into the hype as well as Jethro has presented with our talent.

Irvin was right, this team is overrated top to bottom and has glaring weaknesses at critical positions. Hence the play-off loss that almost became a win at the end.

I think it is. The Cowboys had a chance to score with 2-1/2 minutes left, most if not all their time outs and good field position. Oh, did I mention Bosa and Warner were not on the field for the 49ers? Pretty pathetic, really.

I hope this our sarcasm. Every time with JJ as GM, that Dallas takes the field and doesn’t implode is an act of overachievement.
It is sarcasm . And it’s another reflection of our dysfunctional ownership. But it’s how I sensed after game last night. It provides Jethro another spin while it also provides support of those who didn’t see our team as good as some hyped. It’s all wrapped up together :)

If we had a HC that could just lead us with more discipline it might have made a difference . 14 penalties and leading league as well is an appalling stat. It’s often a drive killer and in this case arguably a game killer. But unfortunately I’ve argued for most of this era our culture issue stems from above throughout whoever our HC was.
I don't disagree but I do believe a HC yes man doesn't get it done.

No, the loss still is bad no matter how you try to slice it. You can put lipstick on a pig but guess what you still have.

This is the type of losing mentality that has held back this franchise for 26 years! The Jones' are perfectly happy not being the best, and content with just being good enough to lose to the best.....life as a Cowboys fan

Of course but that’s all the type of HC we’re likely going to get. And why I argued on Garrett’s behalf all of those years.

I’ve just accepted the dysfunctional ownership and what it represents. And adjusted my expectations accordingly .

SF did well against the Cowboys. They crushed them. That doesn't mean that Dallas didn't choke on almost every level. I didn't watch the SF-GB game. But I assume it was the same. One side came ready to kick butt and the other choked.
In not denying we didn’t play well. And I had a thread saying our stars didn’t show up.

But much like we see in baseball when a pitcher strikes out a power hitter or a high scoring point guard is slowed with great defense the competition often has something to say . And why I’d argue it’s some of both. They deserve credit for stifling our performance.

We’ve witnessed multiple times , not just in playoffs, when our offense is stymied by greater defenses. It’s not always about us not playing well. It’s about them deterring us.

I still don't know why the play was to Cedrick Wilson of all people with the season on the line. Schultz, Pollard, Lamb, Cooper. Those are your playmakers, put the ball in their hands and let them go to work. Don't trust your #4 WR to come through in such a big moment.

49ers have a good/great defense, a great rushing attack and a bus driver QB. That formula has won Super Bowls before and it might do so again this year. I still don't think they could beat any of the remaining AFC teams or the Buccaneers.
I think many fans forget this 49er team is just 2 seasons removed from a Super Bowl performance.

Aaron Rodgers is the greatestedly overrated QB ever.

Seriously.

No. The loss has nothing to do with anything other than we are a Jerry Jones led team and we will always lose.
I think it’s probably some of both.

I’ve always placed the ultimate blame at the feet of the one constant throughout this era with his culture but we must also confront this team was over hyped.

I agree. Credit to SF, they knew exactly how to beat us. But it was definitely both them playing good football and the Cowboys playing bad football. Our offense is broken fundamentally...and that's because our QB needs one thing and our OC and front office does another. It is what it is and we're sort of screwed offensively as long as that's the case. Given Dak's contract, fixing it entirely will be difficult even if we get a new OC in there that knows how to call a game to Dak's strengths. The O-line needs work. We need RB's that stay healthier and don't drain the cap, and we need Dak to work on whatever is bothering him to get him back into what he was doing before this season's injury.

The loss in Dallas was awful and remains that way. We had chances, and the players and coaches failed us. San Fran outcoached us and executed well. We didnt. Same thing last night. GB didnt execute enough, and they did.

The Cowboys have talent but need to address the overabundance of stupid penalties. Disciplined teams can keep themselves in games they would otherwise lose. Fix the center and left guard positions on that offensive line and that will go a long way to closing the gap between Dallas and true contenders. And please… DON’T bring back Zierlein. That guy sucks.
