I can't believe he was playing when Pollard and the other running backs hit the hole so much harder and quicker.

It made no sense. I think it comes from Jerry so I don't want to hear him on the radio complaining that he's losing games when he's putting players in positions where they don't need to be. Zeke did not need to be playing.

If he doesn't get his act together and healthy, he'll soon be at the soup line.

Would look pretty silly doing that after the typical loss of one.

Being that 2022 will be his last season with us... Will he really be motivated to do much here? He's already gotten paid. He doesn't need the money in 2023. You have to question his passion for the game. I know he played with a partially torn ligament in his knee, but he's clearly not the same player before the contract.

I don't know what the cap hit is but do we cut him now?

For Zeke, the NFL was always about the money and getting his family in better conditions. Not like when Emmitt came in and his goal was to be the all time leading rusher. Sure money comes in it too, but his mindset was to be the best. Not that there is anything wrong with Zeke's mindset....in this era, I would think most players are money driven. Get that big second contract, and then who knows after that depending on their health. So I don't see Zeke playing for lesser money or the love of the game.

I don't think Zeke's parents were really destitute. I was told that His mother owns a decent size farm in IA. Which she inherited.

I actually saw Chase tell the bench to feed him yesterday with the same gesture.
