Why can’t you cut Cooper and sign Green Bay WR Adams?

Not to change the topic but I would rather cut Dak and give Rodgers that money.
I you only look at on-field ability; obviously any team would choose Rodgers.
- However, it seems that Rodgers is just not a winner.
- A QB with his ability should have 1 than one Super Bowl appearance in a 17 year career.

I think that Rodgers only showed up to play for GB this year because they committed to trading him in 2022 if he still wants to be traded.

Big ego guys that have not won as much as expected are always going to assume that it's someone else's fault.

Rodgers sees himself as better than Brady but held back by the Green Bay franchise.

He wants to go to a team that will give him carte blanche where he can choose the Head Coach and players.

There are probably 16+ teams that would give him what he wants.

The 49ers beat GB with Jimmy Garoppolo at QB.
- Imagine what they would do with a legit NFL QB (Rodgers)...
How much trade compensation will the Packers ask for? The price would have two start at two 1s and two 2nds. I think some team might throw out 3 first round picks after seeing the picks that Wentz and Stafford got.

Rodgers is gone. He already said he didn’t want to be part of a rebuild.
The Packers still have him under contract. We will see. They are going to have to be forced to trade him. They seem to not think much of Jordan Love.

I will say, he certainly doesn't seem like the leader people say Dak is.

First, based on the fact that Jerry was complaining about Amari Cooper and his contract on the radio this week I would have to say Jerry is willing to trade him if there are any takers. The question is, who would be willing to pay him $20 million per year? Perhaps there is someone out there who thinks the problem is not Cooper, but the Cowboys system or QB. Maybe that team would offer a trade, but I doubt the Cowboys will get a 1st round pick for him. In fact, I bet they have a hard time getting a 2nd round pick for Cooper. Add to Jerry's comments the rumor about Cooper being traded to the Chiefs, which I think was started by Jerry or Amari, and you have to believe where there is smoke there is fire. If Jerry is talking about Cooper to the media, then I'd say there is a good chance he is not in Dallas next year.

IMO the majority of the off season work on offense needs to be on the line and refocusing on run game. Let's try and build the defense into a Doomsday II version in FA, draft and maybe a trade or two. Dallas can have a strong D to overcome the short comings on offense. Look at San Fran. Going to Championship game with bum *** Jimmy G at QB because of a strong D.

I just can’t see him back in GB. Rodgers is a strong personality who I could see walking away from the game if he doesn’t get his wish to be traded.

That really puts things in perspective about how talented he is and how hard it is to win a SB. Peyton Manning had one for the longest time until the Denver defense got him another. Brees has one also. If these guys can play that long with only one SB there is no way in H E L L this no talent QB like Dak is going to ever win one. You can have great leadership but without talent you have 0 chance. Garapolo is more talented than Dak. He may not have the numbers from beating up on terrible teams but he has made throws that win his team games. SF doesn't beat GB if Dak is their QB. He holds the ball too long and won't make those tight window seam pass throws to Kittle and Samuels.

To the same 20 million a year? Adams is true #1. Stephen and jerry too dumb to do it. Need be aggressive not just sign your own mediocre players. That’s obviously worked past 25 years.
Aaron Rodgers targets Adams in an offense that targets Adams. You Arlington Jonesboys fans are hysterical.

Still need a QB who will not be scared to throw him the ball.Arod threw Adams open a lot in tight coverage.Dak doesn’t have the accuracy or the confidence to make tight coverage throws.

Because you thinking Adam's will do any better here, when it just might be the Rodgers/Adams connection that makes him good. I don't recall Adam's doing all that when Rodgers isn't in .

We're at our best when we can run the ball well enough to keep defenses honest. There's no elaborate solution, Run the ball better and cut down on penalties and were still playing.

Have you seen the arm talent getting Adams the ball? Seen how that guy throwing Adams the ball has continually overcome bad OL and or no running game through his career? Unless he is coming to Dallas with Adams, it's a waste investing in WR talent.

Go full steam on the trenches, both sides of the ball. Win by physical dominance at the LOS.

Aaron Rogers would cry without Adams. GB will do what it takes to keep him.

Because Adams is not an idiot to come play with a QB who can’t throw him the ball
