My perspective:

True: Dak didn't lose that playoff game for us, but could've played much better.
True: Romo read defenses better than Dak does 7 years into their respective careers.
True: Dez is making Dak's and the Jones' jobs harder tweeting this.
True: It's not Dez' problem how easy or hard Dak and the Jones' jobs are, so he can share whatever he wants.
True: Dez, while he's a Cowboys legend, his current role relative to the Cowboys is just "Twitter guy," so no one should get too up or down on these comments.

Such irony coming from Dez. A player that relied solely on his physical talents to dominate opposed to improving his route running. Though I do agree, Dak needs to learn how to read defenses better.

I mean DAK has looked lost reading defenses since romo not on the sideline nomore just facts
Partially true. Back when Romo was still on the sideline, the offensive line was still dominating. Nowadays? Not so much.

Dak spends a lot of time running for his life. Hard to read defenses and make split second decisions with defenders all over you.

Fix the line and Dak will thrive IMO

The way I see it is Dez knows Romo had to tweak JG/Linehan/Moore system. Dak may have to draw up some plays up on the fly, and not just run the called play. That requires a high level of reading defense n changing routes at the line. Basically, Dak needs to be an OC. Romo might be the best guy to help Dak or John Kitna.

Dez is right, Dak needs to take his game to the next level whether that reading defenses better, audibles, or working on throwing with anticipation.

Romo said during the game to run the ball.. lol.. Don’t put the ball in Dak’s hands.

I don't care who Dak calls. It's not going to help.

Meanwhile, you take pride in "loser better"? I mean, really?

Sure prop up Romo's reading ability..lol how funny says the "Just win guy" hmm i guess we see what you like your losing QB's to look like. how funny

They used to stack the box and send the blitz to stop the run and bring down Dak. He learned to beat the blitz. He became one of the best at it. We had the O-Line to do it. We are missing Leary and Fredbeard. Now teams can bring 4 and stop the run and pressure Dak to the point he has to bail and can’t step up. They are playing coverage and I guess disguising coverage. You mean all these years he never saw these looks. You beat it by short passes and dump offs. Not WR screens.. Slants tosses, sweeps, pitch, RPO or take off on roll outs. When your O-Line can’t handle a 4 man rush with lb filling the gaps… That’s O-Line 101.. Isn’t that basic O-Line skills here. If you can’t move the secondary around by what you can do then they dictate the game. Winning the trenches is job 1…

IF Romo read defense BETTER than Dak has thru this point in their careers...why are all of Dak's numbers better and why has he thrown 22 less ints?

So you need to look at playoff wins to see that Romo is far better of a player than Dak?
Same point in their careers, Dak's numbers are all better in every way.

Yet you think Romo is a far better player...lol

Probably because he ran crap routes and was going thru the motions a ton out there...like i have been saying for weeks.

Jerry came out and bashed him after covid and he hasn't been the same.

Again this is funny..Romo Rodgers all these QB's you excuse playoff loses for...why not Dak? whats diferent for you...please I'm dying to know how with the same team from 2014 to 2016 (please say RB so i can laugh at you) and it the QB for one but not the other ,,lol. Again get rid of all of them in my book they lose every big game and have for 20+ years..but to you its not the same because....what?

Yes please call Romo and ask him how to win big games...Dont call Brady..call Romo. Jesus Dez your not far removed from telling people Romo was part of a big comnspiracy to freeze you off the team because he wouldnt throw the ball to you..this comment makes total sense after that..LOL
We should have A Rod call Tony too...ya know...since he couldn't do anything against the same defense. Romo is now the Dali lama of coverages!
