They used to stack the box and send the blitz to stop the run and bring down Dak. He learned to beat the blitz. He became one of the best at it. We had the O-Line to do it. We are missing Leary and Fredbeard. Now teams can bring 4 and stop the run and pressure Dak to the point he has to bail and can’t step up. They are playing coverage and I guess disguising coverage. You mean all these years he never saw these looks. You beat it by short passes and dump offs. Not WR screens.. Slants tosses, sweeps, pitch, RPO or take off on roll outs. When your O-Line can’t handle a 4 man rush with lb filling the gaps… That’s O-Line 101.. Isn’t that basic O-Line skills here. If you can’t move the secondary around by what you can do then they dictate the game. Winning the trenches is job 1…

Maybe we could’ve beat the 9ers if Dak could read the defense and find a wide open Tony Pollard instead of forcing the ball into tight coverage here.

So you need to look at playoff wins to see that Romo is far better of a player than Dak?
Romo was a student of the game and still is.. If they could talk he would tell him run for your life if your going to follow these long developing pass plays. Or start calling your own. Change the play. Call the slant or something to change the coverage. He is not making them change what they are doing,, He lets the defense dictate the game..

Our answer to everything is running the ball but I just don’t think management will allow it after spending so much on Dak.

Romo got better as his career went along. INTs and fumbles went way down and he read defenses like a book. The injuries shortened his career

Dak on the other hand hasn't improved and often seems clueless back there
Are we sweeping under the rug........TRomo's untimely mistakes when he was playing and the fact he left without appearing in any NFC championship game, as Dak currently stands? Beyond the overwhelming admiration for Romo, the end results have been compatible, to date.......stats in the regular season and no major team accomplishments in the end.

Is that the RB button to hit him? help me out, haven't played madden in a while.

Yes, Dak throws 1 pick in a over a month and we hyper analyze it because he didn't hit his 4th option on the play.

I think this was the first time teams consistently tried to throw 4 man fronts at Dak and put so many into coverage... The disguised coverages and Dak's lack of scrambling with a suspect running game was what stopped us.. I could be way off base here, but I don't believe the Cowboys had any answers for this type of defense because they never thought they would be in a position where teams could get away with going coverage heavy...

I sincerely believe that this is something Dak is going to improve on in the offseason but it's going to take better online play and a running game.. If our running game was dangerous, Dak will go back to being tops in the league... I agree that Dak isn't going to win with his arm alone, but not many Qb's can do that, only a select few..

Dak's football IQ is clearly extremely low.[/QUOTE]

Never fight with nature.....
You can't teach talent or increase someone's intelligence.
Both are God-given and Dak was holding an umbrella.....
P, S, I don't care if he got his diploma in Miss as you know how that goes with college athletes....

His assertion isn't even true. Dak did not move the ball better than Rodgers against the 49's

Dak had more yards and an actual TD so please tell me how its not true..this should be good.

Ya its hillarious.

Maybe you missed JJ coming out every week for like the last two months bashing the wr route running (specifically Coop and Ceedee) as they were terrible.

Jerry isn't coming up with this stuff on his own either.

Rodgers and Romo are better than Dak though. What’s your point?

Is it the same point that I used for years when saying that’s why you don’t pay a QB like Dak 40 million and we should’ve learned our lesson from countless other league wide examples including our very own Tony Romo?

You were wrong about Dak, bro. Just own it and move on.

Defending a bad player is not worth your credibility when talking football.

If you're going to throw an interception, don't do it tonight a measly 5 yard throw. Dak's fall off has been wild to witness this year.
