I was reading this forum long before I decided to join. So you try and claim to be impartial but that is BS. You slobber all over DAK like so many others here. The guy is simply not as good as Stafford. As has been proven this year.

Dak is a good quarterback. He's just not elite and can't overcome the broken culture that is part of this team. You put Dak or in the past Romo on a less dysfunctional team they could have success in the playoffs too. Me, I hate all the excuse making, if a player has a bad game admit it as a fan.

Hate to inform you but you just outed yourself as a member who was kicked off this board under a different username. Hopefully you behave yourself this time under your new account. lol I’m one of the biggest realists on this board. I posted several times that the Cowboys would go one and done. I didn’t think Dak would play well in the playoffs. I support him but he regressed as the season went on and I didn’t see him coming out of it after the AZ game. I’m certainly not blind to the fact that he didn’t play well the last half of the season. He missed far too many throws and made too many poor decisions.

However I’m not going to trash everything he’s done the past five years because he went into a slump the last half of the season. I believe he’ll bounce back and if he doesn’t I’ll be on here agreeing with many others that he’s not the answer at QB. I’m sure everyone’s confidence in him has wavered some but I’m not going to dog him because of several inconsistent games he played the second half of this season. I’m going to give him a chance to bounce back next season. There’s a number of other players that need to step up their game if the Cowboys are going to get anywhere next season.

Let's put it this way...I do think Dallas would have way more than 1 playoff win if Stafford had been its QB the last 6 years

Not a Dak hater, but I do think Stafford had been living in football hell.

Did anyone call you a dak hater for being critical? That's all I'm doing is being critical.

I’ve been called a Dak lover which is not true. You called me a Dak lover. lol That’s saying I’m an unbiased fan that’s incapable of forming a candid opinion of a player. I’m very opinionated.

How is the great Trevor Lawrence doing with the Jaguars right now. How you will give certain QBs a pass for being on bad teams. But use the bad team narrative against Dak proves more and more how some fans have a hatred or agenda that specifically targeted against Dak and are always willing to give other QBs a ton of more free passes and chances than they are ever willing to give to Dak.
I'd buy your point but I'm looking hard trying to find that bad team surrounding Dak that you seem to be mentioning.

He's had it made, relatively speaking.

These guys are too hard on Dak, imo.
But I do think, especially on offense, he has been set up his entire career.

The results haven't always been there but Stafford has always been an elite talent with all of the abilities you would want for in a QB. At the very least, he could have had a Matt Ryan-type career if he wasn't in Detroit.

I would like someone to try to top this...you're not going to believe this stat

In 12 years in Detroit
  • Stafford never a Pro Bowl RB
  • Stafford only had 1 offensive lineman make a Pro Bowl...and obviously never an All Pro...in 12 years!

That's not to mention that defense, other than a couple of years, was always near the bottom, if not THE bottom of the league.

So good to see him at least get a fair shot at winning now.

A lot of QBs including Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen and Tom Brady. Is Jimmy G or Matt Stafford better than them?

The conversation is about Jimmy G. The other 4 QBs are wayyy better than Dak. Jimmy G seems to rise to the occasion. When healthy, he is a very good Qb. He basically beat Dak head to head on his Daks home field with a bad thumb on his throwing hand. The job of a Qb is to manage the game and lead the team to victory. Jimmy G does that on the big stages and sports a 4-1 playoff record. Dak is 1-3 in the playoffs, and was 1-5 against playoff teams this season not located in Philly. Dak is a paper tiger.

What was his old profile name?

Ok, LA gave up a first round QB in Goff and draft picks.

So, if Jerry wanted to trade Dak, what do you think another team would give up? Oh, and Dak’s contract should be a non factor cause in your mind he is elite.

You can’t count Goff as a first round value. His talent has shown he’s not as good as Dallas’s 4th round pick, and his contract make him an even worse asset. LA gave up extra to get the Lion to take Goff

talk about an inflated ego. You really need to get over yourself. AND I have seen nothing that indicates your opinion is worth more than a bucket of warm spit.
