Good. Though I wouldn’t call them stars. This team doesn’t have real stars. It has players who are only in it for the stats, money, and fame. While that’s understandable, the fact that they don’t truly care about winning and discipline speaks volumes.

Well good he joined the list which includes Haley, Pearson, Aikman, Romo, Woodson, ....and i am expecting a callback from Emmitt but i feel he would agree as well. Jones is a joke and has turned the Cowboys into a punchline.

Irvin never said the players don't care about winning. He said they looked lost like the game was too big for them and by the time they snapped out of it, it was too late. Time had ran out. McCarthy said afterwards that he noticed the team look nervous during the pre-game prayer and when coming out of the tunnel. That falls directly on him and the rest of the coaches. Mentally and psychologically, they didn't have the players prepared and ready to play, which falls back on Michael Irvin willing to hire a different head coach if one of the three he likes ever became available.

I usually don't care what he says, but when he says dak can't figure out what the defense is doing, that is classic we need to bring somebody in the show a 6-year player how to figure out the defense. lmao. this guy is better than Brady, Rodgers, Stafford. heck even Troy, it won't be long before he's better than Roger too. they just haven't got the nerve to say that yet, but t's coming

Just because Jerry over pays and markets those overpaid players as stars does not make them stars…this team is full of jags who is just well marketed. Prove me wrong.

Problem is he needs to call out the owner
The players follow the owners mindset and philosophy that's why we have players more concerned with making money instead of winning a championship.

Winning a championship is great but it can't force the players out of their comfort zone or make them take any unnecessary risk that could shorten their career and ability to make big money.

The best coaches in the NFL have little reason to work under Jerry.

They will always have suitors who will let them run the show, rather than be limited to what Jerry allows them to do, and they all get paid.

Michael Irvin is one person this person would listen to full heart to and make every addition on commitment that he mentions. End of question for me. He has a vault already on integrity and success proven in fire...Cowboys successful path!

Yes, and isnt he here specifically because....as he doesn't let us forget....he won the SB once before?

His postseason experience didn't at all matter to the team.

One coordinator he hired is already gone after putting up the worst defense in team history.

The other needs to go in a big way.

Tell me again why McCarthy is here and what he brings to the table.

He will be here next year at least only because Jerry owes him a pile of money.
