Obviously he hasn't been around long enough to be on any all time anythings, but just watching him play, who did it better, really.....who did it better? Not just talking this game talking his whole short career, some of the throws he makes, wow! And he can run and does.

I haven't seen any QB any more talented than he is, have you?

Mahomes has a long way to go to outdo Brady. Fans on this board who were living in the moment early in the season were writing Mahomes off when he wasn’t playing well and turning the ball over. More than one fan claimed he was a flash in the pan. lol His rating on this board dropped big time during his early season struggles. Now everyone is anointing him again. He’s a great player but he needs a lot more skins on the wall to move ahead of Brady.

Not talking about that kind of thing just talking from a physically playing the QB position. The guy is amazing, who has a better arm? He is a great passer/runner. I can't think of anyone any better at just throwing a football, you can?

Obviously he’s very talented. He’s more physically gifted than Brady and certainly has a better arm but a lot of QBs have been more physically gifted than Brady. Bill Parcells said a few years ago he thought Jeff George was the most talented QB he had ever seen. He said he had never seen a QB with a better arm. Many experts said the same thing but George never amounted to much. Every QB regardless of their measurable’s are ultimately judged by their W/L record especially in the playoffs. I think Aaron Rodgers has every bit as good an arm as Mahomes. Rodgers has a lot of zip on his ball and has a very quick release.

Brady did more with less, lets see Mahomes break bread and feed the masses with averages Joes.

Jeff George wasn't close to Patrick Mahomes,, how about this....

Started watching NFL football back in the days of Johnny Unitas, in all these years of watching TONS of QB's play I have never seen anyone more talented than Patrick Mahomes.....ok?

Brady can't run, he doesn't have the arm Mahomes has, so....??? YES YES when it comes to just accomplishment Brady is THE GOAT, but when it comes to just physical talent it's Mahomes for me.

I’m not saying Jeff George is. Personally I think Aaron Rodgers is more talented than Mahomes but he can’t get it done in the playoffs.

Ok, so we have Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, that'll work.

I do think the cold at Aarons age was a problem for him, and not being a wimp he said nothing about it. Wonder about that toe in that cold, it was cold.

Allen is right there with him. He just exudes confidence and has a cannon arm with pinpoint accuracy. He also has elite running ability. I know Beasley is glad to be in Buffalo.

@RaZon - you are absolutely correct to ask the question. I'm right there with ya. Been watching football since the 70's and No, I have never seen a more talented QB than Mahomes. Any that might be in the conversation from a physical talent perspective didn't have the football IQ and innate natural feel for the game.

Josh Allen played basically perfect in the playoffs & can be argued is still ascending. That was just an amazing display of QB play last night.

As we near the end of the season, you can list the QB's numerically .... but that doesn't tell the story. There is a WIDE gulf between the top 2-3 & the next group and there is another WIDE gulf between that group and anyone else.

We are seeing the end of legendary careers but man the stage is set for the guys in the first two groups to do some spectacular things over the next decade.

He is in the discussion for sure. He has all of the physical tools - the size, arm strength, throwing ability, and mobility. There are QBs that can run faster than him but he is still great at scrambling and picking up yards, especially when you factor in his pocket presence. It's not like he has a constantly dominating OL that gives him all day to drop back and throw. A lot of their big plays are all on Mahomes' ability.

John Elway
Yep, John was the prototypical QB a decade & a half before the modern era began. Definitely a guy I would love to see play in this era.
As much as I respect John, Mahomes is just another tick above him IMO. The ability to see the opening & deliver the ball in the situations he does is just beyond belief.

Definitely had a great game…as did Josh Allen have an equally great game.
Definitely NOT saying Allen is better.
But his back to back playoff games were some of the best ever
9 TDs, 0 turnovers…..a gazillion passer rating (q149 over 2 games) Lots of rushing too

Last team to get the ball won.

Amazing
