Stuff like this is why I don't think MM is cut out for this job. Why are you letting your ship go down without trying to fix it? You're a offensive mind right? It goes back to his hiring of MIke Nolan...why would you let Mike Nolan ruin your first season? I just don't understand.

Might be a Jerry Jones decision.....Somehow, someway I think Jerry has used his influence as owner and gm to handcuff MM. Not that MM needs it..he could screw it up on his own....but I think JJ played a role in the entire meltdown in Dallas.... Lack of TP playing, not moving Collins to LG and other game day decisions. It all smells like a JJ decision....

My understanding it's not unusual for head coaches to give their coordinators complete control but if something not working, the buck stops with him. So this take by MM is a bit surprising.

Just as upper management likely insisted on McCarthy Not interfering Kellen Moore upon his arrival here in Dallas.
Let Kellen run the offense.

This sounds like the Joneses meddling to me. I am not confident that MM will return as smoke is starting to come out of Valley Ranch.:eek::facepalm:

It feels like JErry gives MM the keys to do want as far as coaching goes......this just reeks of McCarthy not wanting to be held accountable and this is why the structure of this team sucks...you can't hold anyone accountable because you have 5 different guys you can blame. Nussmeier, Mcadoo, Kellen Moore, McCarthy....all of these offensive minds and we have nothing to show for it but confusion and lackluster play.

I doubt he told Kellen that

Offense, Defense and Speical Teams is ALL Mike McCarthys job because hes the head coach

if Mike gotta call the defense then so be it because its his job

Rex Ryan had to call plays on offense and help develop Mark Sanchez

so im not buying that he told Kellen that

Wonder what the real truth is

1) Did MM just let the ship sink without trying
2) Jerry n Co told him not to get involved with their love child

I aint usually the conspiracy type, but if you can blame the coordinators for things not going right maybe you save your neck when heads start rolling. It's the only reason I could see MM, with his specialty in offense, allowing KM to drown in his own inexperience. Again, I aint trying to convince anyone this is the case cause I aint sure I believe it myself... just a thought really.
