Refs did a terrific job getting the ball spotted for LA

it was still spotted from the front before the QB even got to the line. The ref didn’t have to try to squeeze past the center and QB. The time was the only difference. Where was that Ref in front of the play in the Cowboy game? Very smooth in one game and a complete mess in the other.

We also made it a mess on a play that shouldn’t have happened by not giving ref the ball or a path to the ball.

Probably had to do with the amount of yardage on the play. No way could you expect the ref behind Stafford to run all that way to make a spot. Maybe the ref in our game was expecting someone else to spot the ball and then when he saw they didn't, ran up there himself.

I agree it should’ve never been called. I’m taking my 2 shots at the end zone. But if you watch that Ram play they didn’t have to wait on the ref or let him squeeze past the LOS and it was a much longer play. Not well thought out by the Cowboys but also bungled by the officiating.

there was nothing efficient about it. He was still 32 yards behind the spot where Dak slid. Any play in a time crunch situation should be spotted from the front, not have to fight his way through the line.

The refs had about 20 seconds to get that ball spotted. He could be in a wheelchair and still get there on time.

Yes amazing how the aspect of double the time isn’t talked about. We didn’t get screwed by a ref, just ourselves. These threads are what Jerry loves…excuses

Exactly!

These boo boo for us threads are boring.

And make no mistake - the Rams were more prepared and hustled 40 yards down the field better than we did from 12 yards.

Compare their center sprinting compared to Cee Dee lollygagging.

All of these games this weekend showed what gritty, tough, bad weather, road game teams have in common. We have nothing in common with any of them.

But hey, blame the refs and don’t forget to visit our shiny practice facility. Best in the league!

Go Cowboys!

All good points here….but on a side note, this should have been a non event except for the Bucs flagrant disrespect for the abilities of Mr. Cooper Kupp……to paraphrase ESPNs Michael Wilson, “perhaps it time to start paying attention to the Opie Taylors of the NFL”.

…..but yes, the Rams, especially Stafford know situational football and did a great job getting into position

Yea...the refs weren't on their game. If they were paying attention properly and doing their jobs, then they could have spotted the ball in a timely manner. But, you know...it's "Jerry World" so anything goes. For Heaven's sake, don't spot the ball too quickly for the home team.

As I said before, maybe he thought dudes up front would take it and they didn't. Again, he was generous with the spot and could have made Dallas back up 2 yards where time would have expired anyway.

Yes, this is exactly why we are stuck in mediocrity for over 2 decades. If Romo hadn't fumbled the ball...if Dez's catch had been called properly....if the Refs had just outsprinted the professional athletes...if if if. I know we are fans and want to re-live in these past moments, but it sure seems like the team is also wallowing in these moments more and more of late.

The fact that you think Jerry reads these post indicate a mental illness too deep to ponder

WWF NFL, instead of the refs looking the wrong way when someone gets hit with a chair, they look the wrong way for other reasons.

The NFL is marketed as entertainment not a sport. They can not be sued for fixing games

After all the fixed games, contests, etc through history, do you really think gambling and marketing on the NFL is legitimate?

Almost every aspect of everything in our lives is setup to con people. Haliburton was selling cases of soda for 45 dollars to our troops with our tax dollar

They spotted the ball so fast for Brady you didn’t even see it…the ref was a blur in full sprint to spot it.

That still took 15 seconds

As I have already said they went 44 yards, we went 15 ish? Think about that. It's a long ways to haul those fatties on the line. That play should take longer.

They had officials in position. During our game the closest official was 30 yards away, with his junk in his hand.

What's ridiculous is how much yall need to kiss the leagues @*# in your rush to proclaim us losers.

Very clearly I stated we didn't deserve to win. I said we deserved one more play, and had the officials been ready we'd have had that play. In no way did I bend the truth to say anything else. In fact I said later the next play would likely have been a sack out of a dime defense. Nonetheless we watched all damn season and we should've got that one last play. Yall go apologize to the league now.

I also think the other teams saw what happened in our game, and emphasized get to the line, spike quickly, etc. Wouldn’t be surprised they told refs to be aware of this.

League may have also put the word out we can’t look inept again....

Well....I guess we have the Erik Williams headslap rule......the Roy Williams horse collar rule.....guess it's time for the Dak Prescott touch rule....

Man. The fact that some of you live in a sports world where rules and procedures and how authority enforces and carries them out have no impact is odd.

No one is blaming the loss on refs. They’re saying the refs also have to do their job.
