without that sheet, I would have no idea. I thought he was as clutch as Roger was.

Dak needs an all pro offense around him to be considered clutch.
Yes, none of the other qbs in the league have any talent to throw to...

Once again, Dak is the one that has to do it with his hands tied behind his back or it doesn't count.

Yes, clutch when no one covers the obvious player who is getting the ball.

Yes Clutch when you throw it to a cheat code and he score on the play that literally no one else in the league would score on.

JUST CLUTCH I TELL YA!
Tough week, eh Ken?

“I told him, ‘I’m probably not going to run the route that’s called, I’m just going to run to the open area,'” Kelce said after the game. “And probably midway through his cadence he was screaming at me at the line of scrimmage, ‘Do it! Do it!’ And I was just like, ‘OK, here we go, boys.'”

^ Clutch.

We get a QB draw and a prayer.

Wait, you seriously think Dak is clutch?
Wait....you seriously don't?

Maybe because he is among the leaders in 4th quarter comebacks/ game winning drives since he has been in the league?

Why do you think he isn't? Bc of this ridiculous stat?

So some people will point out that Dak being clutch is one of his better traits. Well this might help dispel that notion.

13 games when the Cowboys had the ball with 2 minutes or less losing by 1 to 7 points.

1-12 in those games. Watching yesterdays games you need an offense and QB who can win games in the clutch with little to no time left in the playoffs. Dak isnt that QB.

Who the hell put these stats together?

There are glaring omissions like the 2016 DAL @ PIT game where we were trailing by 1 with 0:37 left on the clock.

I wonder how many other games were blatantly missed to enforce a narrative.

Do I think Dak is clutch? No, but I am also not going to blindly accept FALSE statistics.

Do you have a Dak sippy cup and blankie? Never mind…take both and go to bed immediately!

Through the first 8 games he was giving us a lot of hope that he was gonna turn the corner but ever since the Broncos game he dropped back to his old ways. Indecision in the pocket and throwing behind receivers, timing issues, etc. I just don’t know what to expect from him next season

Some of us have very different definitions of what Clutch is. Heck somebody even said that Dak was Clutch in the loss against the Cards. To me, first and fore most, to be clutch in a game you have to win it. Bragging that someone is clutch in a lost is just ... And furthermore, being Clutch needs consistency and it needs to be there when you are in the post season as well.

It's not really fair to say you have to win it - I mean, is Allen to blame last night for what happened in Kansas City?

In 99.9% of any other instance, that Allen TD pass would have sealed the W for every team. That was a collapse by the defense.

What the point about bragging about losses? You can say a player is good despite his losses, but saying they're clutch for a loss, what's next parades for a loss? Clutch to me is when a player shows up in big games, and makes a difference that helps his team win the big game. I also wouldn't call a player who wins a lot in the regular season but has no impact in the post season clutch either. The problem here is people get out the anointing oil way to early around these parts and start calling a player clutch the first year they play. I think you should prove yourself first before you earn such titles as being clutch.

Holy sh..it didn't realize it was that bad.

Said paying a quarteback a huge contract after a severe injury and one that was slightly above average at best was going to either be a great deal(because of market) or one of the worse contracts in cowboys history

You're focusing on a team result - when discussing clutch, that is a player focus. If a QB drives down the field with say, 2 minutes left and gets a TD to put the their team ahead, that is clutch. If a defense collapses after that and allows the opposition to drive down the field and score and there is no time left for the said former QB to do anything, that isn't on the QB.

We're talking about single player performance not team. You're mixing this up. Allen was clutch last night and so was Mahomes. One of them simply didn't get the ball back due to OT rules.

Wow, I didn't know it was that bad! Although, every time we are in one of those situations, I know we won't win..........now I know why I feel that way!!!
