Does anyone think Dak is better than Romo was?

Who cares. The two are the best quarterbacks Dallas has had since Aikman. None of those other 8 in between won squat.

What the fringe Dak stans like to do is run an apologetic that absolves him from any wrongdoing or shortcoming.

Then when it comes to Romo it’s “heeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaw, Romo sux!!!”
It is weird because I loved both QBs and probably defended Romo more than I have Dak.

Mostly because Dak hasn't needed defending until the simps took hold this year.

Patrick Mahomes couldn’t win a divisional playoff game if he played in the Jones system. The Jones dysfunction makes it impossible to win because no one reports to or is accountable to the puppet “head coach”. It destroys morale, destroys accountability to the one man a player should be accountable to.

Lol i love when they bring up the 2016 o-line like it wasn't here in 2014...lol. Had one tell me the other Day Romo never had that 2016 run game..was like umm what did i watch in 2014 then....
No doubt

Those two lines were some of the best we've ever had in any era.

As a percentage of his career (nearly 100%) Dak has consistently had a good oline and running back group.

But there were 2-3 years where Romo had that privilege too
That 2014 line was fantastic!

It was those dreadful lines and mediocre backs in the 8-8 years that we should be glad Dak has never had to suffer through.

Ok. Yah, it's just a an opinion I have. I think Romo got ran off too quickly.
Me too in a sense. I think he should have at least been given the opportunity to finish that year. However, he was definitely done.

Both have done jack in the playoffs, other than beat a Wildcard team here and there.

So what the hell is the difference really?

As if Romo was doing it all by himself. Do not talk to me about context when you blatantly try to insult my intelligence in that way. I'm done with you. We can't talk because you are so disrespectful. Welcome to my ignore list.
Ignore list. Right. This surely showed me. I chuckled for quite some time after I read this. Not surprised...with "diehard" as a moniker.

Plus it was a really bad defense in 2014. Time of possession of the offense jazzed up the D as they weren't on the field that long. All Pro Sean Lee didn't even play but did in 2016. No way close to the defense of this season.

33 pages anyone's mind changed yet? lol

It's a perfect recipe for an endless argument because a lot of people got bitter about Romo not winning a ring single-handed, and then he got replaced by Dak and all the Romo haters cheered but Dak hasn't won anything either so all the Romo defenders turn around and get their licks in, etc., etc.

The truth is that if we're honestly ranking the things that screwed the Cowboys out of rings since 1996 it's 1. The owner/GM 2. Coaches 3. Quarterbacks a distant third place.

Its funny, anyone that thinks getting 14 penalties leaving well over 100 yards on the field is a QB away when the current QB got within 6 with that going on. It baffles me..Romo and Dak both showed they can play at a high level..they also both have showed its impossible to over come "Jerry's way" so far.

Give it another year, and Sean Payton will be Dak's coach. Look what he did for Drew Brees.

I was livid when Romo wasn't even given a chance to compete in 16 and basically tossed to the curb like yesterday's trash. I mean Romo had his bad games. But to me,Tony was definitely a smarter QB as well as a better passer. Seemed to make lesser WRs better. Dak should be all world with this talent and he's not. He's an average QB propped up by the talent of the roster. Give him lesser receivers he's below average.
Yeah
